Microsoft Forgets to Register Xbox One Domains

An important step in announcing any new IP nowadays is making sure that you’ve secured the domain for it. You don’t want to premiere a new type of giant stuffed animal only to find out that someone has already registered “Bigassbears.com.” Now of course, sometimes people do squat on domain names, hoping to get a quick buck or just to troll an organization or individual, but that’s why you register a domain as soon as possible, preferably before you’ve even revealed the name of your device, character, manufactured flesh-eating virus, etc. to the public.

Well, somebody at Microsoft must have been asleep on the job because they failed to register the domain for “Xboxone,” instead registering every prototype name for the Xbox One (Xbox Fusion, Xbox 720, etc.) without registering a domain that had the final name for their upcoming console. Instead, an individual in the UK just so happens to have both xboxone.com and xboxone.net. registered. Microsoft is filing a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum, but until that gets resolved these two domains will be staying with someone who is probably wearing the world’s largest troll face.

This weeks bundle? Alan Wake, Alan Wake American Wasteland and a bunch of goodies to go along with it! Pay anything you like for a DRM-free copy of the games, pay $1 or more for Steam keys. I personally loved Alan Wake (American Wasteland is alright, pretty much a mini-game for fans of Alan Wake's gameplay)... so I can't recommend this enough. I already had the game but I nabbed a few cheap Steam copies to give to friends at some point when the mood strikes me lol.

Hello fellow trophy hunters! I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. I'm LovesAnInjection, which is a pretty confusing name because usually people think I'm a junkie ^^ but actually I'm straight edge.

I've been gaming for like 15 years, mostly on the Sony consoles. I've been using the site for quite a while, but never used the forum much until now.

If I'm not playing games I usually play guitar and listen to music. I've been writing something for a few years now and I'm hoping that I can someday turn it into something cool.

Psnprofiles should have trophy guides!

I know we have tips, but a full trophy guide would bring more people to the site! How? People search online for a guide all the time, they usually see ps3trophies.org or .com, now what if they saw psnprofiles.com? They would check the guide out, and then join the site after finding out how great our members are! =) On other sites, if there is more than one guide submitted for the same guide, they choose the better guide, I feel we shouldn't add that here, it would suck to make a guide and then not have yours picked, after all the hard work =/. This is a trophy site, and we have news, forums, status updates, but one thing we don't have, is trophy guides, that would really boost psnprofiles to the next level! I would gladly start this off with a trophy guide for the last of us! It's sad how I always see a lot of guests at the bottom of the page, let us make those guests, members! What do you guys think? =)

You play a game and love it. But when you defeat the big meanie and the credits scrolls you don't know what to do with the rest of your life. A sequel is the only way to prevent depression. Then you find out that there is no sequel or that it's nothing compared to it's predecessor

It's a minor thing but for gamers it's not. Is there any game you loved and wanna see a sequel of? Or just a better sequel than the one you ended up with? I would want a sequel to Bully. I heard rumors that it might be a chance for one.

I apologize if this is posted in the wrong area. New to the site, but didn't see another thread or area for this request.

I just plat'd Wheel of Fortune last night, and hope to plat PlayStation All Stars (PS3) tonight, and then plat Heavy Fire Afghanistan by this weekend. So, in saying all of that, what two or three games should I start next? The reason I ask about multiple games is because I usually get bored playing just one game. So I bounce back and fourth between a few games. So yeah, vote away.

Once I've plat'd my two current games (PASBR @ 86% and HFA @ 48%), I'll check this poll and start working on the top two or three chosen games.

Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Today we’re announcing that PS Vita owners will be able to check out Disney Interactive’s Epic Mickey 2 on PS Vita next month, on June 18th.

Epic Mickey 2 comes to PS Vita with a number of new features that are only made possible with PS Vita’s unique touch capabilities. On the backend, we’ve added things like ad hoc network functionality, but we’ve also implemented new ways to control the game. You’ll be able to control paint, thinner and Oswald’s electric beam using the touch screen, as well as use orientation-based controls for both the camera and while driving.

EA Server Problems?

Hello everyone! I am having problems with EA Servers. I play Team Fortress 2 on PS3 (Game is old by the way, it's on The Orange Box Compilation game with Portal and Half-Life 2) I was unable to connect for some unknown reason. Well, my internet connection is fine. I don't why I can't connect on EA Server. Are you facing this kind of problem on this game or even on other games?

When sorting trophies for games on this site, you can select date, rarity, etc. and also 'order (XMB)'. However, for PS VITA games this is strange, since the PS VITA doesn't utilize the XMB, and the PS4 probably won't either.

I know it's nitpicky, but maybe this could be changed.
