Since Uncharted 3 is new to most of us, I'm wondering how people deal/intend to deal with treasures on their first playthrough. Meaning, your very first time through the game. The story is new, the maps are new, the treasures are new. How do you approach them?

I try to focus on the story and gameplay, but if i do happen to see that little glint of light i will go after it, even after i have completed it i doubt i will go back to collect the rest since i will probably only play Co-Op lol afterwards

Although I do not have Uncharted 3 yet, I will approach it like I have the previous two. I'll do a bit of searching the first time through, but I won't go too far out of my way either. I'll grab what I can the first time and enjoy the game, and then go back and clean up what I missed when going for the Plat.

Therefore, I voted: If I think of it, I'll stray from the beaten path and search. Some time spent on it.

If I pick them up I pick them up, if I don't I don't. I'll finish the game first before I seriously start hunting for them

I NEVER do it I'll enjoy the game and story and ofcourse only grab the obvious ones

I don't have the game yet, but with the last two I checked every last corner, I enjoy looking for them.

EDIT: I got 75 on my first run, used a guide for the rest.

I think you misread it or took that the wrong way, there is no Story Co-op but there is just Co-op, this is what i was talking about

Meh, i'm just trying to enjoy the story best i can on my first playthrough, will try to get them later

I'll finish the story first, then use a walkthrough the second time around. I'm betting this game is going to be worth a lot of playthroughs.

In order for me to get the Uncharted 2 platinum, I played the game front to back 5 times. I can stand a few more in Uncharted 3.

I started my first playtrough on hard with a treasure guide and final playtrough on Crushing

I got about 38 or so on my first playthrough, searching sporadically when I thought of it.

I don't really look for them, but If I get a feeling like 'Oh that looks off the intended path, probably a treasure over there' I'll go for it. At the same time I don't really seek out those areas.

I got about half of em on my first playthrough. Didn't have to go too far out of my way to get em, but I'll definitely finish em off on the crushing playthrough.

Dont care about treasures on the first playthrough. If you are aiming for platinum atleast you have to have 2 playthroughs. Try collecting the treasures in the 2nd one.

I completed my first one in normal and then on my crushing i refered some guides for treasures, this helped me a lot.....

I thought about getting treasures and got obvious ones or guessed where some would be. After my first playthrough I have gotten over 50 treasures without really trying.

I generally get them done on my first, easier playthrough, that way I dont have to worry about them in my harder run through

Yes I always get them done first up, it makes Crushing much faster.
