It seems they don't want any more than one or two yearly iterations of their sports games open at any given time. When NHL 13 comes out, I fully expect my NHL 11 to become unplayable online.

I guess in a way for sport games they can do this to I guess it get people to buy the latest year for me but I haven't bought another FIFA past FIFA 10
