I'm personally hoping to get some more online coop in, or convince one of my friends to come over more often to play, but at the moment this has mostly been a single player game for me.

In your time playing, which made up the majority of your time playing... singleplayer or multiplayer (online or local)?

Gone the way of the PC. If you use Steam, you should add me as a friend!

I worked thru the 1st playthru completely singleplayer. For the 2nd playthru, I acquired the multiplayer co-op trophies.

I went sing player. Its too difficult going through it with someone who is a few levels lower than you, and its too easy going through it with someone a few levels higher than you. If you wanted a good co-op experience with this game... you would need to start a new story mode with a friend, and strictly play that account with your friend. Not many people have that kind of commitment... Hopefully they sort out that little "problem" for the next installment of the series.

Almost all of Borderlands main campaign was sp for me. Had a friend jump online long enough to get the mp trophies. I joined another two friends and saw how unbalanced co-op is if your levels aren't close enough and gave up on playing the main campaign co-op.

I have played the Moxxi dlc with a friend and will continue until we finish that up. I also had some help with Crawmerax. Circle of Duty isn't looking like I want to do that sp either. We will see.

I played almost the entire thing as online co-op (the first area was done solo). To me, it was just more fun with a group than by myself.

I talked a friend of mine into downloading this with me and right now we are off to fight Crawmerax, wish us luck!
Mostly co-op from the start, but our scheduals are booked so it's mostly night runs for a few hours.

Both 360 and PS3 were multiplayer, actually. 360 was local co-op all the way through, PS3 was online co-op all the way through.

Single player. My brief online experience was getting ditched because I just started playing and didn't know what I was doing so everyone was just doing all the quests. Then one guy dropped and the game glitched and none of the enemies would attack me. So I've just been playing single player. Will go back and play enough MP to get the trophies, and then be done with the MP

I've played through this game 3 times. Twice singleplayer, on my second co-op run with my friend 3 more levels till platinum. I have to say I found this games really boring in singleplayer, co-op is really enjoyable I've really enjoyed myself in co-op, This game was made for co-op that's where it's most enjoyable.

Only thing that I didn't like about coop is that if you were more than a couple levels apart the enemies mirrored the player with the highest level and made it extremely difficult for the lowest level player.

Multiplayer. Definitely a lot more funner to play with a friend or at least online. Got pretty boring by yourself, as much as I love the game.

Just finished my 2nd playthrough both where done on single player, did the co-op trophies with a 2nd controller, and jumped into multiplayer lobby to get trophy then i left. Heard to many horror stories about the game glitching that i didnt want to ruin my platinum run, and the DLC im now playing, they will be single player probably too.
