It seems Sony is readying another HD collection of classic PlayStation 2 games.

Amazon France has a product listing for Ratchet & Clank HD Collection. It has a release date of May 16, 2012. No other details from the listing were revealed.

This doesn't confirm a collection is coming just yet, but history shows it's likely to be true. To date, Sony has released HD collections for God of War, Sly Cooper, ICO & Shadow of the Colossus, and Jak and Daxter.

Game Informer has contacted Sony for comment.

The guy in my game shop has gone on about this HD collection 2 times i've been in the store so he must have found info somewhere too, i really hope it's true i'd love to play them

God, I loved Crack in Time and Tools of Destruction,, and I got a good amount of play out of Deadlocked. Looking forward to a collection. Lots of plattys?

This is a collection of games that I have been waiting for FOREVER!!!!! Ever since they started doing "HD Collections" I hoped for a Ratchet & Clank one. There were alot of PS2 Ratchet's however: Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked, Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, and Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, however one must not forget the excellent PSP titles that were upgraded and ported to the PS2 as well, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters, and finally, Secret Agent Clank. That's a total of 6 PS2 games......do we dare hope for a mammoth collection with 6 games and 6 platinums????? Obviously it would be probably at the very least 60$ instead of 40$ but that's a price I would happily pay. At the very least, Sony should release the original 4 PS2 games in the collection. If that is the case we are still looking at a collection with four games in one.....if memory serves me right, we have never seen that many in one collection before! Yeah....I'm super excited at this new development!

Altho I was disappointed by the Jak and Daxter collection. I loved sly cooper, and I loved tools of destruction, a crack in time, size matters and yes.. even all 4 one. This is great news to me.

The first three R&C where, in my opinion, some of the greatest games ever made. If they to decide to make this collection I will kiss the feet of the company who makes it!

You're in for a treat. the first 3 are fantastic. this is, quite literally THE hd collection i've been waiting for.
Another i'd really like to see is Dark Cloud/Dark Chronicle HD.

Yes, but that's for the PSP. They actually ported Size Matters AND Secret Agent Clank to the PS2, so I hope that they make a second R&C with Deadlocked, Size Matters, and Secret Agent Clank with remastered PS2 versions!

I played some multiplayer on deadlocked, but it was a pain to get on with the PS2. I literally cannot wait to get on Up Your Arsenal.

Deadlocked is not being included. It will be remade on PSN as a standalone title.

Also, it doesn't look like Size Matters or Secret Agent Clank will be included. There's always a possibility of another collection ala God of War Origins with those two games in it.
