The other day while meandering around the hills in the Riften area, I was headed to what I thought was a cave (judging by the icon on my compass). As I got closer to the spot, the icon disappeared. I thought "WTH...whatever...", and just took my time and could see a wide vista ahead of me.

Always one to enjoy the scenery of this game, I decided to walk on over to the cliff and take a gander at the lands below. As I was overlooking the landscape, I got rushed from behind by a skeleton (thank God he didn't knock me off my precipice).

Anyway, I turn to fight him, and I made quick work of him. But just as he went down, 2 more literally dissolved up from the ground, and then 2 more, and another...just like the scene in Jason and the Argonauts.

I was curious, has anyone else had this happen, and I am curious to find out if this little bit of action isn't a homage to Ray Harryhausen/Jason and the Argonauts.

Either way, it was cool and a battle situation I have never encountered before or since.

I've never experienced Skeletons just popping up, but that sounds a lot like the scene

Funny, while I personally haven't played the game, my friend described nearly the exact same thing happening to him!
He even described as the seen from Jason and the Argonauts. Good eye!
