It now looks like a shark's fin swimming in water! Why on earth would they change the image on a trophy??? That makes no sense!
Anyone who has installed the update should see what I am talking about!

I receive far too many blank friend invites. I decline all blank invites.
Maybe Spielberg complained that the old image looks a lot like the shark on the cover of 'Jaws'? That's my only guess.
I don't accept blank friend reqest and asking to gameshare results in an instant block.
It looked pretty much exactly like this. So LoL!

Yes, that was exactly what it looked like! I think it is crazy.....you should not be able to copyright an image of a shark! It's really silly and trivial. I cannot believe that they had to switch the image, the old one was so much cooler!!!
I think it was probably more due to the fact that the word "Jaws" was paired up with the exact same image they used in the cover, rather than just the shark image by itself. Either way, this situation only makes me think less of the company involved with the movie Jaws, what a petty move to make if this change was indeed related to copyright infringement.

Although I agree, think about this: JAWS (the movie) made approximately 3 billion dollars, the merchandising based on that one image alone made in excess of 11 billion dollars. It is just business.
BF3 isn't making any profit off that image though. So its not like the producers of Jaws are missing out on any potential cash flow.
Agreed! It is quite petty....I don't think I ever want to see the actual movie (or its sequels) do to this crap!!!

Don't deny yourself one of the greatest movies ever made over something as trivial as a trophy image. Just boycott #'s 3 and 4 so you can still feel good or whatever. One of the greatest scenes EVER filmed (come to think of it I'm gonna start a thread about great scene's now, lol) is in the movie Jaws and it's borderline criminal to deny it to yourself.
