I know this thread has been done to death, but what's your favorite game? For any of the PlayStations.
My favorite would have to be... Need for Speed Shift. I love that game so much! Second would have to be Burnout Paradise, and third would be Uncharted 3.

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening
BioShock
Dead Space
Silent Hill 3
Resident Evil 5
Final Fantasy XIII

Final Fantasy XIII

You hold FF XIII over VII or X or even VI? That is not something I think I have ever heard before.

As for my favorite game, there are just too many. To name a small collection of them:
FF VII (ps1)
FF X (ps2)
Civilization 4 (pc)
Harvest Moon (DL for ps3, originally on gamecube I think)
Diablo 1 or 2, and I am betting likely 3 as well. (PC)
Bioshock (ps3)

I am sure that there are many more games that were excellent, but when I think of the best of all time, that is what comes to mind.

Well, you know, it might be due to the fact I never played them before. What does it matter?

It doesn't matter. It was not meant to be judgement, just something I had not heard before.

Sorry. Unfortunately, I missed out on some great games in the PS2 days. I missed out on Silent Hill, DMC, Final Fantasy and Shadow of the Colossus. Luckily I've been able to play most with HD Collections.

for the PS3: CoD4:MW - It was the game I bought when I got tipsy and bought my PS3. It made me not regret the temendous costs.
Dragon Age: Origins - I played through this game 8 times, some on the hardest difficulty, just to see all the different permutations the story could take.

PS2: Grandia II and Final Fantasy X

misc: FF3 (6?), Crono Trigger, DOOM, WC3, Super Mario Bros. 3 (tied with FF3 as the best game ever made in my book), anything that let's me play as Bowser.

My PS3, my favorite game is definitely Red Dead Redemption, with Uncharted 2 close behind.

From any system, it's hard to say. Usually I like to go with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. However, I grew up on the NES Mega Man games, so I might say Mega Man 2.
