Just curious to see if there are any fans of the show here. I've caught up to the latest and I'm itching for the next episode.

I havent seen Korra, but have seen the original. Reflecting back wish it had a bit more gore lol.

Is Korra as good as the original?

i recently finished watching the last airbender, and i loved that show. im actually waiting for netflix to upload korra. then ill watch it i dont really like watching shows on the computer though, and i dont even have the basic TV chanels, so for movies/tv shows we rely on netflix/DVD

I've been watching it and I have to say that this is one of the BEST shows currently on tv....it's really awesome and honestly it's just as good as the original Last Airbender series....

It's as good, if not better than the original. The original had its quirks but Korra seems to be more refined, to me at least. The art is the same but better, the fights are frequent and well paced, not to mention to comedy. It is hilarious. Just look at this gif from the first episode:

It has a different feeling to it compared to Avatar the Last Airbender, however, in a good way.

So far, I'm loving this show but am behind by a couple of episodes.

I suppose I personally want to gear this thread more in the direction of discussing the most recent episode. Shame I waited til the season premiere to chime in.

Anyhow, I enjoyed episode 10, but it just didn't have the same shock factor as the other episodes have had. Lots of action; that was cool. Just nothing that made me really question or think about things or speculate.

do you guys have any predictions as to what you believe might happen/want to happen in Season 2?

I think Korra might learn some more airbending. We'll probably see some water, fire, and earth bending as well. I'm just speculating though, so don't take my word for it

I have a feeling that Korra can only airbend now. She will have to relearn the other 3 elements or something. Then there's all the fall out of the Asami/Mako relationship....is it Next season yet?

After her encounter with Aang, I'm pretty sure her other bending is restored. She's seen using all of them right then to show that, I think. As for Asami/Mako, also sure they're through. Remember that the show was originally slated as a mini-series, so they wrote the Legend of Korra with an ending. Everything has been resolved.

This also means that they can go in pretty much any direction for season 2.
