The patch adding trophy support and full installation support to Metal Gear Solid 4 will launch on August 6, Kojima Productions has announced.
That's next Monday.
The patch adds 34 trophies to Hideo Kojima's 4-year old espionage game, and includes the ability to fully install the game, removing the frustrating installs between chapters.

According to that article, the trophy support we all wished for is finally coming and soon.

There was a trophy list, it might not be official but I'm pretty sure the official trophies will be pretty similiar.

Bronze: 20 trophies
Sunny side up - Complete Morocco
Over Easy - Complete Peru
Over Medium - Complate Prague
Hard Boiled - Complete Shadow Moses

Medal - Earn a vertical row of emblems
Insignia - Earn a horizontal row of emblems
SchmOctocamo - Acquire Stealth Camo
Ancient Chinese secret - Acquire Infinity Bandana
Season of Giving - Collect all Sunny dolls
Style of the Season - Collect all costumes and face camos
Chillout - Collect all iPod music
Still got it - Complete the MGS1 flashback with no alerts
Nuclear Playground - Survive all 3 minutes during the Gekko warehouse section in Shadow Moses

Gold: 5 trophies
Old Soldier - Complete the game on The Boss Extreme
Honorific - Earn the Big Boss emblem
One Man Army - Acquire all weapons and equipment
Green Collar - Earn 1000000 Drebin Points
You're pretty good - Don't get hit during one of the final boss fight rounds

nice since the game is really cheap i will go out and get it again because i wouldnt mind playing through this game again and i regret trading it in + there is trophies now

Yeah...that's going to be a tough one for sure. Getting all of the ipod songs requires ALL emblems.

I have MSG 1 and 2, never tried to play them because when I was 7 I didn't like action games with people gettin killed by weapons, now it's just normal, but I can't try it in PS3 because my games are in a copyed CD But I wanted to try this game, and now have trophies, even better

This list really ISN'T that hard. It's about as difficult as MGS3's list, and thankfully, there's no Big Boss related trophy. Unless of course the "Collect All Weapons" trophy includes the Patriot - which entails earning the Big Boss emblem [Since it doesn't include password obtained weapons]. Then it might be slightly challenging.

Unlocking all the iPod songs requires you to collect all 40 emblems, including the Big Boss one. So its not gonna be as easy as MGS3 plat for sure.
