As you may or may not have seen, Burnout Crash is now available on the store (including a trial).

If you enjoyed crash mode in the earlier burnout games, I suggest picking up the trial at least. the major difference is that it is a topdown view, but its fun. It is one of those games that you can play with a few of you sat round for the evening, or just pick it up whilst waiting for the other half to get ready.

If you like the trial, buy it, then add me so I can send you an autolog challenge!

Really? I would have never bought this, as i wanted a whole new retail game, but at least now i have some confirmation that this is a good game. I will be picking this up soon.

Thanks for the info.

Hey Zairo,

Like i said, there is a trial option that gives you a very small portion of the game in one of its modes, but it should give you a good enough idea on whether to purchase it or not. Hope you enjoy it.

In your oppinion, is getting all 240 or so stars hard? I don't want to buy the game and end up ripping out all my hair because i cant get the last star. Have you had any trouble?

I mean i know thee game isn't going to be a complete breeze, but anything too ridiculously hard, right?

To be honest Zairo,

I'm no trophy hunter so I'm kind of the wrong person to ask on that one, I'm generally getting between 2 and 4 stars on each stage, and I think the most I've replayed any stage so far is maybe... 3 times but in general just the once.

In about an hours play I got approx 25 stars. I would have thought that it shouldnt be too difficult for anyone who wants to dedicate themselves to getting them though.

for me its just not the same and i feel terribly dissapointed, its fun but i just dont think it deserves the burnout name, i loved the crash mode as it showed you exactly that, crashes, i loved going high speed into the side of a bus and it going into slow motion so i can see the detail then its just chaos, on the one level i played it just didn't have that many vehicles on the roads which resulted in very few crashes :(

it gets a pass from me, oh well nice try though

I don't accept blank friend reqest and asking to gameshare results in an instant block.

Does seem like a gimmicky, cartoony version of a fantastic mode in the Burnout games. I might give the trial a shot though.

Gone the way of the PC. If you use Steam, you should add me as a friend!

I love the game. It's a perfect pick up and play game if you only have 10 or 15 minutes. It's more like car pinball then anything. The skillshots are fun and the cars that I unlocked are quite varied. Word of warning to the trophy whores, I don't think this is going to be an easy 100% (at least for crap players like me). Some of the race junctions are very tricky, and challenges quite difficult. For $10 though you really could do ALOT worse.
