After passing through the Temple Of Athena in the island of Crete, you will enter a factory like complex and see some dogs pushing a man into a set of grinding wheels. Jump down into the area with the Rapid Hounds, perform a grab move (Circle) and toss them into the grinder. Once enough Hounds have been thrown in, the grinder will break and you will get the trophy. |

Straight Flush Survive the vortex |

Once you board the ship bound for Atlantis from the mountains of Sparta, you will be assaulted by wave after wave of Triton Soldiers and Triton Assassins. These enemies you should remember from the boat at the beginning of the game, but stronger this time. A move that I suggest using is Hyperion Charge (L1 Circle) which will grab enemies and allow you to toss them into other enemies. This will help cut down the Tritons without much hassle or damage to Kratos. As the battle progresses, lightning will rain down on the ship. Roll away from it and stay on the defensive, parrying enemies and, I suggest, using the Arms Of Sparta to launch spears and stay on guard against the Tritons. There is one blue orb chest on the boat- the best spell at this point is Scourge Of Erinys, so make use of it. |

That Hit the Spot Kill Lanaeus |

After entering Atlantis for the second time, you will be climbing along a ceiling with the Blades Of Athena, when you encounter old Lanaeus- the keeper of the Caldera. He pulls a lever and shuts a gate to prevent your forward assault. Move left and defeat the Scylla Broods that attack (use Triangle) and then drop down to the small island in the electrified floor. Use the Arms Of Sparta to Spear Assault (L1 Square) Lanaeus to his doom from the island, and receive this trophy. |

A Bridge to the Past Raise the bridge to Death's Domain |

After Scylla derails your invasion (don't feel too bad- she did the same thing to Odysseus), you'll be looking for some payback. Scylla is the first, and easiest, boss fight. Scylla will attack with her tentacles, that will hurt and stun Kratos, and her bite, which will do the same. These can be blocked with (L1). Once shes' open for attack, double jump and attack her face with a quick (Square-Square-Square) combo. After a time, Scylla will summon Scylla Broods, small spider like creatures that attack in packs. Since you won't have upgraded Blades Of Athena at this point, attack them with a quick combo and block Scylla's bites. When the broods are gone, get back at her with the Blades. The final stage of the fight is the same as the first. When Scylla is knocked down, jump to the crank on the right and perform a QTE (Circle, rapidly) to drop a anchor on her. Then, perform another Random Button QTE to finish her. |

A Mother's Sacrifice Kill Callisto |

In an unexpected turn of already strange events, Kratos must battle his mother, who has become a monster. Callisto is a hybrid between the Cyclops and Minotaur. She will attack and stomp the ground, but also rush at you and pin Kratos to the walls. When she does this, complete a QTE to break her grip, and attack her repeatedly with the Blades Of Athena. Try to direct Callisto's charge attacks to the pillars around the room, so you have space to maneuver. None of her attacks can be blocked, so roll around and attack when you have the opportunity. You will obtain this trophy after defeating her. |

After your first encounter with Keres Wraiths, Kratos will enter a building that didn't follow Cretan Safety Codes. The floor will begin crumbling from beneath you. Roll your away along the obvious path and knock out the walls with a Thera's Bane imbued slash from the Blades Of Athena. Occasionally there will be a slide jump, which shouldn't be a problem. Once you are out of this trap you will earn the trophy. |

The crusher is in Death's Domain, a large moving block that sounds menacing. Run toward the crusher while it is pulling back from a strike and duck into one of the crevices. Follow the pathway behind the crevice to the operation room of the crusher. The room is filled with gears that operate the crusher, and about 10 Cursed Remain. Use Cyclone Of Chaos(L1 Square) in addition to Thera's Bane to eliminate the crowd and break the gears at the same time. |

Let Him Win Finish Deimos battle |
|

|
Deimos isn't a difficult boss. His style of combat is very similar to Hercules of God Of War 3, and actually he shares some combos with Kratos. Deimos attacks with combos of punches and proximity attacks, ie, ground pounds. Dodge around Deimos with rolls, and if he opens himself up to attack, as in when he is charging the gauntlet, use Tartarus Retribution (L1 Triangle) to deal serious damage to Deimos. Deimos' attacks will focus around slow moving attacks. Thera's Bane in addition to quick jabs with the Blades will accumulate into devastating damage. All of Deimos' attacks can be blocked, so make use of the parry ability. If you don't know by now, Scourge Of Erinys is your best spell, so use it repeatedly. Once Demios goes down, you'll get the trophy. |

Fool's Gold Kill King Midas |

Midas isn't as much a fight as he is a puzzle. Midas will have backed himself into a corner to protect himself from Kratos. Waltz into his hide-hole and begin dragging him out. As you bring him along, you will encounter Rabid Hounds. Drop Midas and attack them with Cyclone Of Chaos (L1 Square), or if you have it, Tartarus Redemption(L1 Triangle) to quickly eliminate the hounds and progress. There will be two waves of the hounds. While you fight, Midas will be crawling away. Midas will attempt to escape occasionally, so just complete a short QTE to subdue him. Once you get him to the lava, toss him in for a trophy. |

Spartans Stand Tall Save Deimos |

After getting royally wrecked by Thanatos, Kratos will be climbing up the Suicide Bluffs to save Deimos. Follow the straight-forward wall climbing path to get to the battle site of Thanatos and Deimos. Once you arrive, join the fray. Finish a short Quick Time Event to help Deimos and proceed to battle Thanatos for a final time. As a family. |

The Death of Death Kill Thanatos |

Thanatos is the final boss battle in the game, but you will have the aid of Deimos to defeat him. In the beginning of the battle, Thanatos will attack with rapid claw combos and mad dashes at the Brothers. You will only have the Blades Of Athena for this, so attack as you would with Thera's Bane and use, in my opinion, the best boss combo, Tartarus Redemption (L1-Triangle) to severely damage Thanatos. Occasionally, Thanatos will grow wings and drop down on the field to stun the Brothers. He usually follows this by dead locking a Brother. If it's Deimos, Kratos should rush to his aid and attack. If it's Kratos, press the Down Button to have Deimos throw a spear at Thanatos. The second stage of the battle has Thanatos evolved into a massive metal Dragon-Griffon hybrid. He will rest at the edge of the cliff and attack with energy balls, much like Erinys. Reflect these attacks, and send Deimos to launch spears at him. Once you get an opening, use Thera's Bane to attack Thanato's left arm, and slowly rip the armor off of it. He'll recover from this attack with an arm swipe, which should be avoided by a combat roll. The third stage is identical to the first, only this time Thanatos has Aerial Attacks and is more aggressive. The fourth stage is the same as the second, but now Thanatos has a Ground Pound attack. Disarmed Kill Erinys |

Erinys is a tough boss with multiple stages. Here's my strategy- In the beginning of the battle, Erinys will attack you with her fists and her signature spell, Scourge Of Erinys. This is the more deadly of the two. She will call Ravens to aid her, and they are about the same as the Harpies you've previously encountered. Hit them with either a grab move for an instant kill, or use an Aerial Cyclone Of Chaos (Jump-L1-Triangle) to kill them, should they get in close proximity to Kratos. Thera's Bane, in combination with Valor Of Hercules (Triangle-Triangle-Square) will do massive damage and toss back Erinys while she's idle. Occasionally, she will be stunned and Kratos can grab her and rip her wing off. Do this twice to continue. The second phase of the battle is one long series of Quick Time Events. Erinys will transform into a massive Raven, and swoop down at Kratos. Follow on screen prompts to bring her back down on the bridge, and then attack her with Spirit Of Hercules (Triangle-Triangle-Triangle) for maximum effect. She'll rise once more and take out the bridge. At this point, Kratos will be sliding down mountain slopes to catch Erinys. As you slide, stick to the left so you can jump closer to her and latch on to her wing. Heads up, more Quick Time Events follow. Press (Circle) to initiate a mini-game that ends with Kratos entertaining 8 women. This grants a trophy and a big red orb bonus. Do this 3 times to get Aphrodite's Ambrosia. |

Ares Who? Kill the dissenter |

The Dissenter does nothing to defend himself, but he does have a pet that he unleashes on Kratos- the Piraeus Lion. The Piraeus Lion is a pretty simple boss- all he does is swipe and bite. (Most cats just sleep and eat, so give him credit for breaking stereotypes). Parry his bites and attack him with Thera's Bane, Spirit Of Hercules (Triangle-Triangle-Triangle) , or your brand new spell- Scourge Of Erinys. Occasionally he will pin Kratos and bite him, and this can be broken out of by a Quick Time Event. The Lion goes down without much of a whimper, and you can move on to the Dissenter. Once you find him, throw him through a few walls and finally disembowel his Ares-loving ass. Cause that's how it goes in the City of Sparta, son. |

If you though Kratos had some deep-seating insecurities, well, you're right. Especially since his younger self attempts to kill him. Kratos will battle the spirit of his younger self in this odd boss fight. The young Kratos will bull rush the old one, and you will have to press a button to grab him, and toss him into different parts of a mirror. You will have about 3 seconds to select an area with the left stick, so send the young God Of War into each of the sections. Once you've effectively smashed the mirror, Kratos will rush his younger self , and you will have to repeatedly tap (Circle) to smash him into the mirror and obtain the Skull Of Keres. And this trophy. |

After entering the Caldera, Kratos will get into an argument with the titan Thera. Of course, Kratos doesn't take no for an answer. Latch onto Thera with the blades and twist the left stick to retrieve the ability Thera's Bane, which quickly becomes the best power in the game. |

Kratos will be tailing her underwater, and you'll have to complete a serious of Quick Time Events to stop her. She'll surface, and you'll have to rotate the (Left Stick) to run an Archimedian Screw through her ugly head. And so ends an hour long, on again off again boss fight. |

Temple Of Poseidon- 1) After obtaining the Eye Of Atlantis, go out of the door to your right to find this feather and a Gorgon Eye. The Caldera- 2) After entering the Caldera, you will find this Feather on the path to a savepoint, left side. Crete- 3) After jumping into a circular temple like structure with a blown out wall, you will find this chest, left side. Temple Of Athena- 4) After descending into the mill in an elevator, take two left turns and jump up a ledge to find this hidden Feather. Heraklion- 5) After saving upon entrance to Heraklion, follow a short path to the left of the building. Climb the ladder and find the chest. 6) While exiting Heraklion, this chest will be to the side of the keyhole. Easily miss able. Aroania- 7) When you come to a climbable wall, immediately to your left there will be an ice wall. Break through with fire to find the chest. Chasm Of Solace- 8) After using the grapple point, jump to the bridge behind you to find the chest. It's visible. Laconia- 9) After reaching a T-cross in a climbable wall, go to the right instead of the left for the chest. Temple Of Ares- 10) Ascend the stairs near the statue of Ares, and the chest will be barely visible on the left side, near the throne. The Caldera- 1) After riding the rock down a lava flow, jump up a wall to a save point. The chest is next to it. Crete- 2) After jumping into a circular temple like structure with a blown out wall, you will find this chest, right side. Temple Of Athena- 3) Along the wall to the right of the bloody pool, after a savepoint. Heraklion- 4) When you find a zipline, jump down onto the area below and defeat the archers. At the closest part of the area to the screen, the chest will be there. Forum- 5) After walking out onto a skeleton roof of beams, drop down to the bottom right of the beams to find the Horn. Heraklion- 6) While exiting Heraklion, this chest will be to the side of the keyhole. Easily miss able. Aroania- 7) After ascending the elevator in the block puzzle, break through the ice wall to the left to find the Horn. This trophy is cumulative through Story and Combat Arena, but chances are you won't get it in the story. Go to the Combat Arena and set your Magic and Health to maximum. Then, either battle sets of Broods or Atlantis citizens. The Broods help because they attack you, and you can get them with the Cyclone Of Chaos (L1-Square) but the Atlantis citizens won't attack, so you won't be stunned, but you have to chase them down. |

Keres Wraiths are tall, witch like demons with long hair that appear like they are wearing a dress. They will go underground to move away from Kratos, and can stun him with a Scourge Of Erinys like attack. Slash away at them with the Blades Of Olympus, and use Scourge Of Erinys after you obtain it. When they are downed, press (Circle) over their head to rip out their hearts. This can be done in Story or Combat Arena. |

There are 6 Godly Possessions, and here are the locations. (Note- if you feel like a second playthrough or just want some fun in Combat Arena, the Possessions give you some pretty beast abilities) Callisto's Armlet- Found on the ground of Callisto's home after Kratos kills her. Athena's Owl- After Kratos' chat with Athena, look behind a pile of rocks to the right to find this. Aphrodite's Ambrosia- Finish the sex minigame in Sparta 3 times. King's Ring- After Midas goes insane and touches the lava, check the spot he touched for this. Bonds Of Ares- After entering Death's Domain, look just below the Death Gate. Gravedigger's Shovel- After unlocking everything in the Temple Of Zeus, a series of platforming challenges will be opened up to you. Start by climbing the ladder, then jump through a series of grapple points to a position above Zeus's Statue. Then, jump down onto his hand and rotate the lever on it. This will open a cavern in the floor. Descend through this cavern to find the Shovel. |

Better way to do this... 1. Go to arena. 2. Set magic to infinite. 3. Set difficulty to easy. 4. Set first enemy slot as two minotaurs. Maximum spawns (2), attacks are off, and respawns are on. 5. Set second enemy slot the same as #4. 6. Start arena, and activate "The King's Ring" relic from the menu (increases red orbs by 1000%). 7. Spam Scourge of Erinys (left on D-pad). You will get a very high combo (at least 1500) and a ton of orbs to max out your weapons/magic, as well as extra orbs to buy everything in Zeus' Temple (which is necessary to get the God Amongst Men and Treasure Hunter trophies). |
