One is all I need
Kill 5 Infected in a row with a single blow.
37.58%
Uncommon
In case you dont know, Infected are the zombies that look the most humanoid, love to scream, and run like Usain Bolt. Luckily in this game, their sprint means if you hit them with a good weapon in the right spots (head for a clean kill, limbs to dismember) when they are running fast enough, you can one hit KO them. This is easiest done with a sharp weapon, this way you can get the best shot at instant KO by cutting off the head. In Act I, the very last mission has you guard a garage from waves of 1-2 Infected at a time, perfect for this trophy if you haven't earned it yet. Simply stand in front of the door of the garage, and time your swings so you make contact, hopefully before they hit you. This can take practice, so feel free to reload a checkpoint. I believe there are at least 10 Infected that attack during this mission, so you have sufficient error gap here.

Can't touch this
Use a hammer to kill a series of 15 zombies without taking damage.
21.19%
Uncommon
Regardless of what hammer you use (although the bigger the better), the best place to get this trophy is on the beach in the Resort area. The Zombies on the beach are less prone to attack in large groups (like they do in the Slums); allowing you to fight one or two Zombies at a time. It is best to kick them to the ground and then finish them off before they get up.

Light my fire
Set 10 zombies on fire simultaneously.
14.23%
Rare
The best place to get this trophy is in the Slums near the western waterfront. There will be a small parcel of land near the canal (south-western part of the map), where there are anywhere between 10 & 13 undead. Use a Meat Bait to keep them concentrated in the area, and toss your Molotov-cocktail in the middle of them. Your trophy should pop as the fire dies down. You do not need to kill them, just set them on fire.

10 heads are better than 1
Kill 10 zombies in a row with headshots.
16.12%
Rare
Easy way to do this (if you have a unlimited ammo gun and the Arena DLC) jump into Arena A (Easy) and shoot the zombies 1 at a time using a head shot and as the zombies in this Arena are a real low level you should be able to kill them easy. The trophy will unlock after you kill 10 zombies in a row.

A taste of everything
Kill a zombie with 10 different melee weapons.
77.08%
Common
Pretty simple to get, and almost guaranteed- you'll almost certainly go through 10 weapons by the games end.

Note: Modifying a weapon does not count as a 'new' weapon, but throwing a weapon down and later getting an identical one does.

To put it bluntly
Kill 250 zombies using blunt melee weapons.
51.93%
Common
Blunt weapons are pretty common early in the game, and they are marked by a hammer symbol in the Inventory menu. Sam B is the blunt specialist, so use him if you need extra help. This trophy is cumulative through all play throughs.

Some good melee weapons are Pipes, Baseball Bats, and Hanbos.

Hack & slash
Kill 250 zombies using edged melee weapons.
53.42%
Common
Edged weapons aren't common early in the game, but they appear often by Act II and are prevalent in Act III. They are marked by a sword symbol in the Inventory menu. Xian is the sharp weapon specialist, so use her if you need extra help. This trophy is cumulative through all play throughs.

Some good edged weapons are Wakizashis, Katanas, and the Kurki.

Guns don't kill but they help
Kill 250 zombies using firearms.
20.52%
Uncommon
Didn't use a gun much your first play through and still need maybe 100-150 firearm kills? FRET NOT! there are two very easy ways to either farm or finish up getting all 250 firearm kills:

- When running through Act I as Purna (if you didnt choose her as the character you beat the game with), her Fury ability allows her to pull out a pistol and use it to kill enemies. the gun consumes no ammo, so it is very helpful in accruing a large number of kills if you make sure to invest wisely in the first skill tree for Purna, Even getting through Act I, It gave me around 50 kills easily.

- During Act II, you will reach the city hall, and after trekking to the local shopping mall for supplies, return to find things have gotten....bad. As you are escaping back to the church, you will pass an open balcony with an MG nest overlooking some zombies. the rest should be self explanatory, just make sure to reload the checkpoint after they all die.

also, an additional note about firearm kills: shooting a propane tank or in any way not delivering the final killing blow by directly shooting the zombie with the gun will NOT count, so if you really want this, dont use the tanks too much on the small groups...but in large groups, its still very much encouraged to thin the crowds, just make sure to try and get the final blow in using a gun.

Tae Kwon Leap
Kill 25 zombies with your bare fists.
51.85%
Common
Killing enemies with your bare fists isn't easy, but it's easier in the early going against Walkers. A good 'combo' move for this is to jump up into the air, and then kick a zombie in the head. They'll be knocked down, and you're free to attack.

Sam B's Rage skill will let you get this in no time, and he gains an ability that lets him crush a downed zombies skull with a stomp move. Both of these counts to the trophy.

Kill 50 zombies using a vehicle.
71.94%
Common
Most zombies die instantly upon contact with a car in Act I, and after you complete the side quest 'Lazarus Rising' for Hank (one of Sinamoi's crew) you'll have constant access to fresh vehicles.

Take his vehicle and drive up to the lighthouse and back, trucking through zombies, until you get the trophy.

Loot 5 Exceptional Weapons.
22.46%

Easy trophy and can be achieved by only getting ONE orange weapon. Now you're thing Attitude has lost it LOL. Simply find a weapon box and if it holds a orange weapon DO NOT PICK IT UP! have a friend shoot the weapon box with a ak-47 (hopefully unlimited ammo) as he is crouched down. as your friend is shooting the box simply pick up the orange weapon if done correctly the game will still register the orange weapon in the box. pick up the orange weapon again and again till you have 5 and the trophy unlocks. This was tested by me and some friends so I know this works

Tis but a flesh wound!
Sever 100 limbs.
57.85%
Common
A good edged weapon will suffice for lopping off limbs. I got this primarily using a Shock Wakizashi, but the exact weapon makes no difference, though the stronger the weapon, the quicker the sever.

Aim at the shoulders, neck, or kneecaps of an enemy and hack away. It's pretty easy to dissect a Walker, and an Infected can be beheaded by slicing at them when they're charging. Thugs are also good for this, since their slow movements let you aim at their arms (and an armless Thug is a pretty weak foe).

Based on people I've played with, the following are commonly missed:

-Bottom-left corner on map of the slums (Area 2)

Jungle:
-Area where you can fight "Jason" for the chainsaw
-Fast travel village at the very north area; you can confirm you have this spot if you have all the ammo recipes since one starts here
-At the previous village there's a reporter that asks you to get her camera or soemthing. Following this quest leads to a little outpost that can easily be missed too.

Kill 150 enemies using Analog Fighting controls.
18.61%
Rare
Killing a zombie while driving in a car counts towards this if analog fighting is turned on. So this could easily be earned by hanging around the main roads in area I, either returning from time to time to drive around the roads or camping out at the tunnel where the burning infected charges out of (near the gas station where you find the three power switches to turn off the electrified water. One of the switches is above this tunnel.

For this, you really only have to apply a Fire or Electricity modification to a weapon.

I recommend strapping batteries to your Machete, and building a Shock Machete. This can be done at the start of Act II, if you have the right materials. (Batteries, wire, electric scrap, and the machete). This mod costs $200.

This way they will all be lit on fire and thenthe molotov will spread to ignite the barrel, killing them all.
