Executions are very helpful as upon successfully performing an execution, you will be granted a partial health refill. To perform an execution, you must stun an enemy (use the triangle attack to stun) and press circle to perform the execution. Do this 75 times and the trophy will pop up.

The charge attack is not all that useful during SP. You will probably not get this via normal gameplay (especially if you do a single playthrough on Hard only). To perform the charge attack, while moving in the direction of an enemy, press l3 to sprint and square or triangle to execute the attack. For this trophy, you must actually kill the enemy with the charge attack, so you are probably better off doing it on groups of Gretchin; they are the smallest orc enemies and very weak. Set the difficulty to Easy and replay a couple chapters to make it even easier.

Ork Nobs are the largest normal enemy you fight during SP. They carry a large club, wear a red upper garment, and have Metal helents. As you wear down their health, a prompt will appear over their head and they will be in a daze. This is your chance to perform an execution move on them, so press circle to initiate it.

Unfortunately, they are large enemies and will try to fight off the execution. You must them button mash the indicated button and prevail. Do this 10 times and the trophy will pop up.

This trophy description is a bit misleading. What it should say is, "play 10 multiplayer games using each class in each game." This means you must die at least two times in each game. Once you die the first time make sure, before you spawn, that you change your loadout along with your class.

Example: You start the round as an Assault Marine. After you die once, and before respawning, hit circle . This will take you to your loadout screen. Just pick a loadout with a different class, say Devastator. Die again, hit circle again. This time choose Tactical.

Do this in ten different games and this shiny new trophy is yours.

This one can be tricky during actual MP gameplay. You may feel it's best to boost in a private match. The easiest way to do this is to use the Vengeance Launcher. Stick 2-3 VL rounds to your opponent and have them boost straight up into the air. Once they have left the ground, tap your r2 to detonate your pre-stuck VL rounds thereby killing your opponent. You will get a "Death from Below" bonus so you will know you did it right if that pops up. NOTE: If you are seeing the Killstreak bonus instead of the "Death from Below" you may be fine as the Killstreak seems to override it when displaying on screen. Do this 50 times and the trophy is yours.

True Son of the Emperor
Kill 40,000 enemies in the game (all game modes combined).
2.48%
Ultra Rare
Not nearly as difficult, or as big of a grind as it seems to be. I hope this goes without saying, but you should really do this trophy last. The best way to get this trophy is through the online menu and then Exterminatus Private. Pick the Assault class Marine. Make sure your Marine is equipped with the following:

Chainsword
Impenetrable
Swordsman's Zeal

The map to choose would be Kalkys Facility Escape - Arena 1. Just do arena 1. Once you finish the first 5 waves, kill yourself. Do not quit. Make sure you die. From the death screen, you can either vote to retry or hit circle to leave the game.

Now, once you start, just wail in on everything that moves. You will lose your armor pretty fast, but don't worry. Swordsman's Zeal will keep your health regenerating fast enough to keep you alive. Try to make sure to kill as many ranged Orcs as you can as fast as you can. They can make things a bit more difficult.

To get an extra 200 kills out of each run, when you must capture the checkpoint(s), don't go to the point until 15 seconds before the timer runs out. Once it does, as long as your stay within the radius, you will go into overtime and still be able to capture the point. In the one instance where there are two checkpoints to capture, capture the first checkpoint right away. You can then wait for the last 15 seconds before going to the second point.

One run will yield you around 800 (if you don't do the checkpoint trick) to 1,000 (if you do the checkpoint trick) for every 15 minute run or so.

Good luck!!!

70.69%

This can be completed in either Public or Private matches. Each Arena consists of 5 waves. Arena 3 is Waves 11-15. Complete these 5 waves and the trophy is yours. I would highly recommend having 4 solid players for this arena. There will be many Space Marine as well as many large and elite orcs. Squigs (the little bomb dogs) are also a very large annoyance here as well; try to avoid them or shoot them from a good distance away.

Note: if you are hosting a private match, you can choose which arena you would like to start at. Simply choose Arena 3 if you are having trouble getting the Chaos Invasion mission via Public matches.

Let the Galaxy Burn
Complete the Chaos Invasion mission.
57.39%
Common
This can be completed in either Public or Private matches. Each Arena consists of 5 waves. This trophy is specifically for completing Waves 16-20. Complete these 5 waves and the trophy is yours. Upon completing these waves, you will be automatically thrown into the Bonus Wave. Here you will have to fight off several Killa Kans (large mechs) as well as an enormous amount of orcs.

Note: If you are hosting a private match, you can choose which arena you would like to start at. Simply choose Arena 4 if you are having trouble getting the Chaos Invasion mission via Public matches. I would highly recommend you do the Chaos Invasion Mission in a Public match!! If you are not in a public match, and end up completing the bonus wave, you will have to do it again in a Public match for the "Heretic" trophy :( Try to get a group of 4 people and do this in a public match starting from Wave 1.

Let the Heavens Bleed
Defeat the Chaos Invasion bonus wave.
30.55%
Uncommon
This can be accomplished in either a Public or Private match. I would highly recommend you do this in a public match though so you also get the "Heretic" trophy.

The bonus wave is effectively wave 21 of the Chaos Invasion mission. This wave consists of roughly 4 mini-waves where groups of enemies will spawn. The bonus wave starts off with a single enemy... a Killa Kan (large orc mech).

General tips:
1) Avoid being in the middle of the arena with the Killa Kans for too long (if you dare venture there at all).
2) At all times, be conscious of the Killa Kans as if they catch you out of cover, you will die quickly from their gun fire.
3) Killa Kans will keep respawning as you kill them off which will result in progressing the bonus wave to the next mini-wave.

Once you defeat it, the 1st mini-wave begins. 1-2 more Killa Kans will spawn. Be weary of the Squigs (kamikaze dog-like creature with bombs); they will obliterate you (and possibly your team if you are huddled up too close). Take out the Squigs first (preferably from a distance) and then focus on the Rocket boyz and other shooters. Finish off any melee orcs and go back to the Kans.

Mini-wave 2 is generally the same as the 1st with many more Orcs.

Mini-wave 3 is where it gets a little crazy. In addition to the normal, rockets, shooters, squigs, and melee orcs, you will have several Ork Nobs and their more evil counterparts that are black and carry huge axes.

Mini-wave 4 (should be the final mini-wave) and is generally the same as #3 but, with more enemies that all seemingly spawn at once across the arena. There really isn't a "safe" spot to be here. You just need to be aware of the closest spawn points to your location and don't be afraid to dodge roll past the large orc nobs and shield guys. Stay on the move and make sure you are behind cover (from the Killa Kans) if you stop to take a stand agains the orcs.

I have finished this with 4 guys using the tactical loadouts and it worked really well (except you all have to be very conscious of the ammo drops - don't be a ammo hog!!). Lascannon also works very well as the blast will penetrate huge mobs of enemies and 1-2 shots kills most enemies in its path. Good luck!!

Frugal Spenders
Complete a Chaos Invasion Arena without your team using any lives.
64.19%
Common
Easiest Arena is #1 (waves 1-5). All 4 people can go in as Raptors and try to take out the long-range enemies 1st, then focus on the melee enemies. Should be pretty easy after a little practice and knowing where the enemies spawn helps.
By bmj14772 on January 22nd, 2013
Kill, for the Sake of Killing
Complete 3 challenges in one Chaos Invasion Arena.
69.26%
Common
The easiest way to do this is to focus on the actual challenges and ignore the enemies if they are not part of the challenge. 3 challenges will pop up during the course of the active arena (usually Waves 1, 3, and 5). Complete all 3 of these in 1 arena and the trophy will be yours. Arena 1 (waves 1-5) will be the easiest one to do these as the enemies will be weaker and fewer.

Glory to the Dark Gods!
Achieve a team score of higher than 270,000 in the Chaos Invasion mission.

This will come naturally if you are starting from Wave 1. By the time you complete wave 20 you should, easily, be over 300,000.
By bmj14772 on January 22nd, 2013
Heretic
Complete a public Co-op game in the Chaos Invasion mission.
29.68%
Uncommon
For this trophy, you must complete all 20 waves of the Chaos Invasion mission AND the Bonus Wave in a Public game. You can invite friends and set up your lobby in a public match so don't panic. Go to Online and choose Exterminatus. You will end up in a public lobby by yourself. From here, you can search available games or use your customizer to change your character appearance and loadouts.

There are 2 routes you can go from here:
1) Start Search and choose "Chaos Unleashed" and pray you end up in a Chaos invasion mission. I have no idea why but, this option does not only search DLC.
2) Invite 2-3 friends and hope you get the Chaos Invasion mission.

The game cycles between maps and treats the DLC mission as just another map. If you are going with option 1, good luck. For option 2, hit triangle to invite friends. A public match will not start with less than 3 people for some reason so you may have to wait for someone to join your lobby if you don't have 2 friends with you. For option 2, you may not get Chaos Invasion right away. There are a couple processes you can try to "skip maps"; See below for details.

=-=- Map Skipping -=-=
(WARNING! If you do either of these options, you may end up locking up your session (and/or PS3) so proceed at your own risk. It happened to me on many occasions.) Your lobby will typically have to disband and try again. You may even literally freeze up your PS3 resulting in requiring a reboot:

=-Option 1: With a full public lobby, the game will count down and begin... the next map/mission should be displayed int he bottom left of the screen. If this is not Chaos Invasion, the host can hit circle followed very quickly by square to try again.

=-Option 2: Let the map/mission begin but, only the host choose a load out and spawn into the arena. Die by flying off into oblivion or letting the enemy kill you. This will take your entire team to a Fail screen where you can all choose NO on the Retry. Once the timer counts down, the game will shift to the next map/mission. Rinse and repeat until you get into the Chaos Invasion mission.

If you fail during any of this Arena's waves, you will start over at Wave 16 as long as you all choose to Retry. Keep at it and you should eventually get through it. Just remember that you will always want to kill the Squigs 1st and from as far away as possible, then work on the ranged enemies, then the melee enemies. Good luck :D
