No need for that. These aren’t very difficult if you keep your cool and know what you’re doing. A good racer knows how to slow down. Anticipate what you’ll need to do in the near future; slow down a bit when you’re approaching a corner you can’t take at speed, and it’s better to do so by laying off the accelerator rather than applying the brakes, if that’ll be enough for the situation. (In fact, unless I’m on a straightaway with little traffic, I’ll almost never be holding the accelerator all the way down to begin with. Makes it easier to pick my way through traffic too.) Go toward the outer side of a corner as you approach it (if you’re about to turn right, go to the left side of the road): this lets you get away with a wider turning radius, which requires less slowdown to begin with. Take your time going around corners and through narrow onramps, don’t go any faster than you feel lets you stay in control of the vehicle: it’s faster to corner slowly but correctly the first time, than to crash and have to get your bearings and 3-point-turn your way back into action. The AI drivers cannot challenge a moderately skilled human driver; you are genetically different from them, so take confidence in that. Get a lead and cruise to victory. Don’t waste time, but don’t rush either. Some of the races are themed by vehicle type (for example, sometimes all the opponents will be in SUVs), but you’re not required to play along with that, so bring your best racing car to every race. I hung onto the Comet I got from the first race, but a Turismo – respawning and easily stolen from Mikhail Faustin’s place in Beachgate – will do splendidly as well. |

This is a really simple trophy but if you are having trouble, be it with the traffic or getting the front wheel to stay in the air then i suggest starting the Six Axis tutorial, you can access this by going in to your phone and selcting the last option, you'll then be taken to the Airport. Complete the reloading and then head to the target to start the bike section, instead of doing this task turn around and head down the runway. It may take a few tries to get the hang of the controls but keep trying and since there is this huge runway you wont have any problems with traffic or the police. You'll obtain this trophy once you have landed your long wheelie. |

I had trouble with this for the longest time. As with taze_hunter’s suggestion, take two full steps to the left, then pull the R stick straight down for a second, then straight up (the top of the stick’s surface aiming about halfway between  and  , a little more toward the latter, at least on a standard DualShock 3). I usually look down at the controller when doing this. The ball rolls slowly; that’s normal, as far as I can tell. My guess is that it gives around a 25% chance of a Strike, so, statistically, around 6–7 full games’ worth of this (on average) should produce a Turkey and this trophy.If you don’t get a strike, then it’s faster to intentionally miss all pins on the followup roll, without gutterballing it, to minimize the time spent in Niko’s verbal reactions, so things go faster. You’re not shooting for score here: only strikes matter. You don’t need to bowl against a partner for this, so don’t bother, it’ll just waste time. |

| Try for this trophy at the beginning of the game, go for the *One Man Army* trophy as well. Grab a bike, go on the high train tracks and go to the other island to the underground to earn you 6 stars. Stick around for 5 minutes and then travel in the subway for a while. I recommend doing this on a seperate save file because the chances are that you won't survive. | ||||

One of these (always the first one I was given, at least in my playthrough) is in a pedestrian tunnel linking BOABO and East Island City. (Going under the bridge leading to Charge Island which links Dukes, Bohan and Algonquin.) If you follow the yellow GPS route, it’ll take you to a place on Franklin Street with the destination marker saying it’s underneath a lawn by the street, and no obvious way to get there. And it’s a timed mission! Instead, you should manually set a waypoint to Creek Street (the broad curving street, the northernmost one in BOABO, a ways west of the Cluckin’ Bell), then turn north from the northernmost part of it, and seek out the tunnel. (You may want to investigate the area beforehand, so you know where to go.) Don’t just drive into the goal marker: you have to get out and touch it on foot, so pull up alongside it. Also, on all of these missions, you don’t have to take the car Little Jacob sends you to. You just have to get in it (thereby collecting the package), then you can get out and take a faster car you brought along, which can help with some of the timed missions. |

This trophy is actually surprisingly easy. At the beginning of the game, you'll get 6 stars right away if you try to cross any bridges. I personally brought a car up to the above-ground tram/subway (there's a subway station a few blocks from the first safehouse), drove it along the tracks until I started to cross over to the second island. When you go far enough, you get a free 6 star wanted level. Since the subway tracks aren't easily accessible for the police cars, you can just hang out driving back and forth on the tracks over the water for 5 minutes until you get the trophy. Standing still could get you shot at as the police zero in on you, so I recommend staying in motion to keep the police/helicopters above you at bay. If you continue to follow the tracks over to the second island, you'll go underground which could make laying low for 5 minutes even easier. I didn't even notice that until I already had the trophy though. |

Each time you access the police computer, the list of Recent Crimes is refreshed. The easiest are the “Suspect On Foot” ones, which only require you to chase down one target (perhaps simply run them over with your car). If you don’t get one to your liking, exit the computer (not just the list of Recent Crimes) and re-enter it for a new list. Unlike the Manhunt missions, it doesn’t matter where you do these, so you might be able to earn this even before unlocking any other islands. As for getting a car: once you have one, and it accumulates more damage than you’d like, you could just park it in front of a safehouse, then go away a couple blocks and return, and it’ll be in better shape than how you left it. That way, you don’t have to lose a Wanted level again each time you steal one. (Or just use the cheat code that spawns an FIB Buffalo, which counts as a police car: using the code doesn’t block any trophies.) |

| A quick tip to get this trophy a little faster is that it counts for meeting each character only once, so you don't have to do the same character multiple times (ect. Everyone will take their own amount of time with this game. Some will struggle to keep under 30, others will think it's a piece of cake. My advice? - Don't be afraid to reload your game when convenient to do so. If you fail a mission, not only do you lose precious time spent on your first attempt at it, but then the time spent on the second and third and fourth attempt. Reloading your game to your most recent save/autosave will also revert your "playing time" to whatever it was when you saved. Plus, it's a free trip to the safehouse. - Take taxi's everywhere. Hold triangle to ride as a passenger in a taxi. Once you choose your destination, press X and skip there immediately for a small fee. The missions in this game send you all over the place, you'll probably save hours alone not having to drive yourself everywhere. - Skip cutscenes. Probably pretty obvious, but yeah. You won't get the story at all, but you'll save some sweet, sweet time not watching all th |

Check GTA Wiki for a list of what's needed to get 100%: http://gta.wikia.com/100%_Completion_in_GTA_IV (links through the list will also help you a lot) The only thing that can be a lot of trouble, is killing the 200 pigeons. I recommend not killing any of them if you find them while doing something else, and only do it when you decide to kill all of them. Use a guide with a map with numbers, so you can keep track of how many pigeons you have taken. Also, the cops will most likely pursue you when you shoot, try not to be arrested to not lose your guns - if they end up killing you, it doesn't matter, you don't lose your progress nor your guns. The rest of the list isn't hard at all. Maybe you have trouble with some of the stunt jumps (like I had with one of the jumps from Alderney's highway), look for the video of the jump in YouTube to see how it's done if that happens, I got the 50 very fast. Also, almost everything unlocks with the main story progress, mostly at the beginning, but some things take more time to unlock (like the 9 assassin missions, for example, unlock while doing main missions for Phil Bell towards the end of the story) |

This can be boosted in a 1 vs 1 deathmatch. Start up a multiplayer game with max private slots and invite a friend. Host should to set the following options: --Time limit: 10 minutes --Weapons: Pistols --Respawn: 1 Second --Distance: Near When the match starts, just run to each other and 1 guy kills the other until they get to 20. This will not take the whole 10 minutes but, the next setting down (5 minutes) cuts it too close if you don't get lucky with the spawns. Good luck! |

This trophy is all about patience, Hangman's Noose is by far the best way to go after this trophy. This trophy requires you to reach Rank 10 ($5,000,000). This will take over 1000 games of Hangman's Noose on Hard difficulty. You can do it with 1, 2, or 3 partners, as explained below: Roles: Defender - The defender stays at Petrovic's side and defends the plane till he boards the Helicopter. Pilot - The pilot is the one who drives the 'Airtug' to the Helicopter location at the end of the runway, then flies it back to Petrovic. Once he is boarded and so are your defender's, you fly to the safe zone. Solo - This role is the simplest. The solo person makes their way to a helicopter at the end of the runway, just like the pilot. However, they fly straight to the safe zone and wait for the remaining players to arrive. As you progress through the story, you will gain the ability to call Terry and Clay for backup during missions or free-roam. Each time you start a mission (once you have this ability) Jim will send you a text message about "Don't forget to use Terry and Clay...". Do this! Some missions may require you to wait to call them until you get to a particular point so just keep trying to call them for backup. Once you finish the story, take them with you for Gang Wars. Do as many gang wars as needed to get them up to 100% and enjoy your new trophy. A Few additional notes: 1) Don't panic if one, or both, of them die during a mission, gang war, etc... they will respawn for future endeavours. 2) Unless they keep dying during the missions, their toughness should be at 100% by the end of the story (or very close). 3) I noticed while riding around with them in free-roam, they slowly (very slowly actually) gain toughness. |

The strategy used by me to attain this trophy was using the following moves on all the opponents --- Wait for the opponent to walk towards you --- Repeat Also, one more important aspect here is to spectate in between two round if your health is not full. This builds back your health to 100%. Hope this helps all those who are yet to achieve this trophy. |
