Up and Comer Reached 20th level. |
![]() |
| Level 20 should be achieved near the end of the game if you follow the main story line and have discovered locations. If you still aren't at level 20 and you are close to the end of the game you've got several options. You could either go and complete some side quests, kill some enemies, try win some speech challenges and you could use an infinite xp glitch. There are several xp glitches possible but you would have to delete the patch in order for them to work. The safest xp glitch is at camp golf. Speak to one of the troopers outside and you'll start some quest about some misfits shaping up. If you keep on going down to your left there should be a table with a guy with a mohawk sitting down. His name is Razz. When talking to him keep on attempting the speech challenge. You will be getting 48xp for every success | ||||

![]() |
| In total, there are eight companions in Fallout New Vegas. The first companion you will meet is ED-E. This robot is found in primm but it's in a non functioning state . In order to fix Ed-E you will either need: Repair Skill of 65, Repair of 35 and science skill of 55 or 3 pieces of scrap metal, 2 sensor modules, 1 scrap electronics | ||||

Walker of the Mojave Discovered 50 locations. |
![]() |
| When exploring the Mojave be sure to follow those arrows which appear on your compass. These arrow lead to locations you haven't discovered yet. If you are at level 20 and still haven't discovered 50 locations, take the explorer perk which shows all the locations of the Wasteland on your map. | ||||

Master of the Mojave Discovered 125 locations. |
![]() |
After reaching Level 20, you have the option to take the Explorer Perk. It reveals every location in the game. After you get this perk (it's highly useful) just run to each pre-marked location on your map and get this trophy. Before level 20, undiscovered locations are marked with a hollow-arrow on your Compass, just below your Health Bar. Use this as a guide. |

Globe Trotter Discovered all snow globes. |
![]() |
Throughout the Mojave wasteland, there are seven of these rare snow globes. These seven snow globes can be found at: Goodsprings Cemetery (Grave with rubble on it), Hoover Damn ( Directly on desk with terminal as you enter visitor center), Mormon fort ( go to top floor of tower on right of Mormon fort and look for it on the shelf), Jacobstown (Reception desk of Jacobstown lodge), Nellis AFB ( Boomer museum, table to right), Lucky 38 casino (cocktail lounge) and Vault 21 (Sarah's room) Also it should noted that when each snow globe is sold to Jane (a robot in the penthouse of the lucky 38) that you earn two thousand caps for each globe you give her. |

Blast Mastery Caused 10,000 damage with Energy Weapons. |
![]() |
If you don't get this through the course of the story, before the Battle Of Hoover Dam, make a new save file. Then, run around killing everything that moves. Slaughter every settlement (and leave your companions behind) until you have enough for the trophy. The strongest Energy Weapon I found was the YCS-186 Sniper Rifle, which can be obtained from raiders just above Tumble-Weed Farmstead, along the rock shelf to the north. (If you have the Wacky Wasteland Trait, you will get the Alien Blaster from a spaceship instead. It is statistically identical, except it's a pistol.) |

Love the Bomb Caused 10,000 damage with Explosives. |

If you don't get this through the course of the story, before the Battle Of Hoover Dam, make a new save file. Then, run around killing everything that moves. Slaughter every settlement (and leave your companions behind) until you have enough for the trophy. The strongest Explosive I found was the Grenade MahcineGun, and can be purchased from the Gun Runners for about 3000 caps. |

Lead Dealer Caused 10,000 damage with Guns. |
![]() |
If you don't get this through the course of the story, before the Battle Of Hoover Dam, make a new save file. Then, run around killing everything that moves. Slaughter every settlement (and leave your companions behind) until you have enough for the trophy. There are a lot of Guns in the game, but my favorite was the Service Rifle- it's semi-automatic and was patched with a greater strength, Most NCR troopers carry them. I recommend upgrading it with the Springs, to give it an even higher fire rate. Another is the Light Machine Gun- which is low power but fully automatic. It is carried by Super Mutants on Black Mountain. |
No Tumbler Fumbler Picked 25 locks. |
![]() |
This trophy is almost guaranteed, since lockpicking is a needed skill in the game. Upgrading your lockpicking skill makes this much easier, since higher level locks cannot even be attempted until you have a certain level of lockpicking skill. There are 5 kinds of lock- Very Easy (Skill: 0) Easy (Skill: 25) Average (Skill: 50) Hard (Skill: 75) Very Hard (Skill: 100) Lockpicking is determined by a minigame, in which you move a bobby pin around in a lock and turn it with a screwdriver. The farther the lock turns before you encounter resistance, the closer you are to the correct location. Once you find the right location for the pin and turn the lock, the lock will open and it will count toward this trophy. |

New Vegas Samurai Caused 10,000 damage with Melee Weapons. |
![]() |
If you don't get this through the course of the story, before the Battle Of Hoover Dam, make a new save file. Then, run around killing everything that moves. Slaughter every settlement (and leave your companions behind) until you have enough for the trophy. The strongest Melee Weapon I found was 'Oh Baby!', which is a sledge hammer and is located in Charleston Cave, just above Jacobstown during the 'Guess Who I Saw Today' quest- it's right next to the chewed up stealth boy. |

Jury Rigger Repaired 30 items. |
![]() |
| Be sure to pick up the dropped weapons from defeated enemies. Early on the game you receive the Varmint Rifle and it is a fairly common gun carried by enemies. Go to your weapon menu and select triangle. If happens, then you can't repair your item. To repair a gun or an apparel item, it must be fixed with the same gun. If get the jury Rigger perk at level 14, it allows you to repair any gun with a gun of the same genre and you could repair with apparel with any other piece of apparel. You should have the trophy before level 14. | ||||
Hack the Mojave Hacked 25 terminals. |
![]() |
| There are plenty of terminals in the wasteland and it is an essential part of the game. If you are short on terminals hacked I recommend going to the REPCONN headquarters as there are around 5 terminals in that location right there so you get 20 percent of it done. Another area with loads of terminals is Camp Searchlight which is a bit northwest of Cottonwood cove. I recommend tackling this area with a radiation suit though since this area is highly radiated. | ||||
Artful Pocketer Picked 50 pockets. |
![]() |
| To pickpocket someone, go behind them and crouch down. I recommend saving before and after each pickpocket attempt since some enemies may become hostile and start shooting at you. Rinse and repeat until you reach 50. | ||||
Outstanding Orator Made 50 Speech challenges. |
![]() |
| Trophy should come with progression in the story. Be sure to continuously raise your speech skill level. If you wanna get this trophy out of the way quickly, do the Razz speech challenge glitch at Camp Golf. Patch must be deleted however | ||||
Desert Survivalist Healed 10,000 points of damage with food. |
![]() |
For this trophy, I accumulated a lot of healing items, like Bighorner, Brahmin, and Coyote Steak. These are all very useful. Then, I went to the area around Lake Mead, and drowned myself until I was nearly dead. Before I died, I surfaced and ate food until I was fully healed. Then, I went back under. This is the path of least resistance, since it's always more practical to use a Stimpak in combat. It still took me over 2 hours to achieve. |

Old-Tyme Brawler Caused 10,000 damage with Unarmed weapons. |

If you don't get this through the course of the story, before the Battle Of Hoover Dam, make a new save file. Then, run around killing everything that moves. Slaughter every settlement (and leave your companions behind) until you have enough for the trophy. The best Unarmed weapon I found was the Ballistic Fist, which can be obtained from Legion Soldiers at the Fort. |

Caravan Master Won 30 games of Caravan. |
![]() |
(also covers 'know when to fold them') A difficult one, and highly time consuming... Firstly, you'll need to build your deck from scrach, here's a few traders and bodies you can loot for cards: Goodsprings - Ringo (starter deck) Crimson Caravan Company - Blake Gibson's Scrap Yard - Old Lady Gibson Goodsprings - Chet NCR Correctional Facility - Carter Prospector's Den - looted from corpses Scorpion Gulch - looted from corpse Deathclaw Promontory - looted from corpse Central Sewers - looted from corpse Now once you have all of the cards, you need to understand the rules, Ringo will give you a copy along with the starter deck you should already have. The easiest way of getting these trophies is to play Ringo tirelessly until you reach your goal. To start off, don't bet large stakes as your not doing it for the money, besides once you've played the opponent enough, they will have no more than a cap per game anyway. Once you've made a small bet, you need to build the deck of cards, there's no real tactic to selecting cards, just try out various sets and see which ones work, I used about two cards per value, so two aces, two twos, two threes ect ect, until I reached higher value cards like, 7 onwards. There are also Face cards, here's what they do in caravan: Jack - removes the card you attached it to. Queen - reverses the pile order. King - doubles the value Ace - adds a single point Joker - removes all cards So, there are three caravan piles on the table, you need to reach the value of 26 for each of them. Start by placing your highest value card, 10 is a good start. Then you just want to try and get to 26 without going over, if you do however, you can restart your pile by throwing a face card into the group and it'll discard the cards. As an example: you'll first place a 10, and then an 8, and then another 8, if all goes to plan you shouldn't have to touch that pile again. Also remember to sabotage your opponents progress by using the face cards. There's also another way to win however, as long as two or more of your opponents piles are below 20 and yours are above, you'll win. And that's it, simple once you know how... |

Hardcore Played the game from start to finish in Hardcore Mode. |
![]() |
Much easier than it first appears, to begin here's a few tips and preparations you can make: -When choosing a difficulty level for combat, choose the easiest, really does help when you don't have to worry about enimies being difficult. -Ammo has weight value, so don't carry unnecessary ammo for your guns your not using, oh and carry just a few weapons per exploring, you need the space for health and food items. -Carry lots of water, theres a dlc pack which adds a water canister, your pc will take regular sips from it, it won't stop your h2o levels from increasing drastically but will delay the effects. -There are a number of safehouses throughout NV, they offer an infinite supply of purified water and food, and there's a bed, practically built for hardcore mode. -And finally keep at least one follower with you at all times, they are vital, I had Boone throughout the game; he's perfect for HC mode, he keeps at a distance ect ect. Just remember HC mode means they can die, you may have to babysit them. That's pretty much it, the most important thing is to keep an eye on your H2O stats, it'll change rapidly. |

These can be detonated during or after the story, as you can return at any time. Before Collapsed Overpass Tunnel Entrance - 5 - (Required) After retrieving the Laser Detonator in the Marked Men Camp, you have to blow up a warhead on a truck bed to leave the area. Can't miss it. - Head back to the Hopeville Missile Silo Bunker exit. In front of the barracks that is across from the destitute gas station is another warhead. - Following the path to the Collapsed Overpass Tunnel Entrance, it branches before entering the ruined city area. Among the bunkers off the right side of the right path is the warhead. - In the very southeastern-most corner of the Marked Men-run ruined city you'll find another warhead in the center of the broken-down trucks and vehicles. - Just before the Collapsed Overpass Tunnel Entrance is a warhead. Right in plain view. Before Ashton Silo Control Station - 4 - After getting attacked by the first group of Marked Men past the Collapsed Overpass Tunnel and moving along, you'll start being fired upon by some more in the distance. Below their building and the path to The Crow's Nest is a warhead. - The next warhead is found in the middle of the Ruined Highway Interchange area, surrounded by deathclaws. - As you near the end of the highway, you'll come across a fork. Take the right path that heads downward toward a collapsed tunnel and a ruined vehicle. A warhead is near the "Smitty's Diner" sign, near the Junction 7 Rest Stop. - After the last warhead, now take the left fork. When you come upon the Marked Men camp, head to the southeast. Tucked in with the rocks behind a truck is a warhead. Courier's Mile (unlocked after setting off nuke at Ashton Silo Control Station) - 2 - As you enter the area, you'll see a fork. As you take the right one, you'll be able to see a warhead up ahead in the distance among the destroyed buildings behind the deathclaws. - Back and along the left road, you'll come to a path and a clearing on your left full of Marked Men. Tucked away in the back with the ruined buildings is a warhead. Before the Cave of the Abaddon - 5 - As you exit the Ashton Silo on the Sunstone Tower rooftop, head to and peak down over the western edge. Below, on the left-hand side of a large white "On Solid Ground!" billboard near a large, collapsed building you'll see a warhead. - On the opposite side of the same billboard from the last warhead is another. - (Required) From Sunstone Tower, head southwest. Tucked between the boulders is a warhead you have to detonate to continue along. - Head around to the right from the last warhead. Up among the rubble on your right, you'll see only the tip of a buried warhead sticking out. - (Required) Head northwest from the last warhead. You'll see another warhead wedged in-between the rocks. Before Ulysses' Temple - 8 - After reaching the Boxwood Hotel Roof, head southeast. Behind a pipe gushing water you'll find the den of Rawr the Deathclaw. One is embedded in the ceiling. - After defeating Rawr, another is used to leave the den - (Required) Further along from the last two, at the base of a ruined building where some Marked Men are shooting from you'll spot a warhead. - After passing under the building using the path created from the last warhead, look up and to the right. In the distance (above the entrance to the Waste Disposal Station area) you'll see a warhead sitting next to a Marked Man sniping at you. - Head south from the toppled building. Around another gushing pipe, up among rocks, you'll find one. - After detonating the previous warhead, a path leading up will be created. After climbing up, you'll be atop the toppled over building. Going around to the right will take you up to the entrance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The warhead is on the rocks to the left of this entrance. - Look out southwest from this area and you'll see one atop the nearby building in the farthest corner. - High up and to the right of the entrance to Ulysses' Temple. Inside Ulysses' Temple - 6 - Next to you as you walk in, to the right. - To the left as you walk in, along the wall next to large missile. - Further to the right between two large missiles. - Hidden in recess behind first large missle along right wall. - Further to the left between large missiles. - To the right of center walkway. |
