Jacob

You will unlock this trophy after completing Chapter 6: Prayers by Night. If Jacob is still alive in your game, he will now be searching for Emma.

Before going up the path near where you leave the wooden platform:

• There is 1 piece of evidence and 1 tarot card in this area.

After encountering Emma... and somebody else:

• If you threw dirt at Bobby in Chapter 3, Jacob will be more vulnerable. For him to survive and not get bitten, pass the QTE (), then select HIDE (), and complete the Don't Breathe event. When he inevitably blunders into a bear trap, choose PRY OPEN (). Remember that for  Nobody's Fool, Jacob will need to be alive and uninfected. 
  • If you choose PULL FREE () and fail the next QTE, he'll do a faceplant into another beartrap, Saw-style. Note that he’ll survive this if he’s been bitten.
• If you're going for  Blood Pact and you threw the dirt at Bobby earlier, fail the first QTE and he will get bitten.

Abigail

The next part is mainly a cutscene as Kaitlyn with nothing noteworthy to mention. Coming up, though, is the next cornerstone in Nick and Abi's budding relationship.

When you enter the pool house:

• There are 2 clues and 1 tarot card in this area. This section seems to be timed, though you should have enough time to collect everything you need.

After the cutscene involving Nick:

• If Abi doesn't shoot Nick, she will die. Nick will not die from the gunshot, but just run off and can be killed later. This is the best approach for  Hackett's Quarry Massacre. There are a couple of opportunities later on which involve an infected Emma, but killing off either Abi or Emma following this point cancels out the death of the other person.
• Shooting Nick also counts as a combat encounter, so you must shoot him if you're going for  Peanut Butter Butterpops!

Emma

If Emma survived her encounter with the monster on the island, she can next be found by the firepit while aiming to get back to the lodge to meet up with the others.

Before progressing:

• There is 1 clue in the immediate area.
• If you stole the fireworks in Chapter 1, there will be 1 remaining by the firepit. You can use this as a distraction a little later on when you run into some trouble, but it's not necessary, nor do you want it if you're still aiming to get her infected.

During the cutscene with the hunters:

• Emma will get one last opportunity to get bitten. Press , and she'll quickly get pounced on (nobody tell Jacob).
• If you want her to survive unscathed, just press nothing during that part. As mentioned previously, the firework can be used if you picked it up, but it isn't needed for getting through this area.

The chapter ends with another scene at the pool house as Ryan but it just involves dialogue. This trophy will unlock following your decision with Eliza to either move on or see more (your choice).
