 Laura | You will unlock this trophy after completing Chapter 7: The Past Behind Us. This chapter is mainly a flashback that will occasionally switch between the present day and the events from a couple of months ago. Laura has returned Sarah-Connor-style and is now sporting a cool eyepatch. This is the most cutscene-intensive chapter in the game, so you can relax for a bit. |
- There is 1 clue and a tarot card in your cell. Interact with these before you loosen the stone in the wall.
- There are 2 clues, 1 tarot card, and 1 piece of evidence in the station. 1 of the clues requires that you first find the birthday card and the calendar upstairs. This will allow you to access Travis' office computer, which will also unlock
Bizzare Yet Bonafide. - There is a syringe you can find in a locker upstairs, in the third room across. If you want to keep Laura alive, make sure to grab this and then leave it behind the stone in your cell that you loosened earlier. If you don't hide it, Travis will find it on you the following morning and you won't be able to use it on him later. It's not the end of the world if you don't take it, but it makes things easier.
- If going for
Hackett's Quarry Massacre, Above the Law, and/or 
Family Matters, don't bother taking it.
- There will be a part where you can try to grab Travis' gun by pressing
while you're reading out a poem to him. This will anger him, but as with choosing aggressive vs passive dialogue in this chapter, it doesn't seem to ultimately make a difference to the outcome of Laura and Travis' relationship.
- This is the most crucial part of the chapter that can impact a number of trophies. To ensure you get Should've Gone to the Motel, Above the Law, The White Wolf, Peanut Butter Butterpops! and Rough Night, successfully pass the QTE (
) to tranquilise Travis. If you didn't pick up the syringe earlier, you can avoid shooting him and choose to apologise, which will prevent him from becoming resentful towards her. - If you want Travis to become vengeful and you didn't use the syringe, pass the QTE (
) and fail the next 2 QTEs.
After Laura and Max escape, there will be a couple of present-day sections, including one with Jacob if he's still alive and captured, but these only involve inconsequential dialogue. This trophy will unlock following your decision with Eliza to either move on or see more (your choice).
