To level this skill, the best tip that can be given would be to not abuse the "Return to Car" option in the  menu and avoid using Chocobos apart from the trophy you want to unlock for riding one. This will only count for steps you have made either jogging or sprinting around.

Now even after this tip, you may still have not obtained this by the time you have done everything required for the platinum trophy. The best way to boost this then would be to get two rubber bands and have them over your analoge sticks so that Noctis will run around in a circle. Do this somewhere safe like Hammerhead where no Daemons could possibly spawn during nights and defeat you during it as most will probably like to leave the game unattended while this is progressing.

You might want to go to Galdin Quay and use the hotel which gives you 2x experience points when you decide to see if you have progressed enough to reach level 10. Depending on what way you played could be different, some people may have very minimal grinding to do for this while others could end up having to spend 3 or more hours.

This skill is even beneficial to level up to 10 even if you plan to play past getting the platinum trophy as it means Gladiolus will pick up rarer items after battles which will help greatly with the rest of the end-game content.
