Roadmap
Stage 1: Normal Playthrough
Welcome to the Motörhead: Through the Ages DLC expansion, an unlikely IP pairing that sees Victor traveling to a world (or rather, a set of three realms) themed around the music and iconography of the eponymous and renowned metal band. You're here to restore the mighty Snaggletooth by defeating the three evil lords who have corrupted the realms and stolen his power, with the man, the myth, the legend Lemmy Kilmister himself passing the reins of leading the revolution to you after seeing you in action. For this stage, simply play through and enjoy the story - nothing is missable whatsoever. Along the way to defeating the three bosses for their trophies -
Completed the Motörhead story
Defeated Orgasmatron
Defeated the Warpig Machine
Defeated the Queen of the Damned
Discovered all Secrets in the Motörhead World
Completed the Motörhead Band Members collection
Completed all Monuments of Rock
Stage 2: Challenges
Now that all that's done, it's time for everyone's favorite part of Victor Vran: grinding out all the challenges. Thankfully, there's far, far less here than there were in the main game - 80 normal and 80 elite across 16 maps - but that's counterbalanced by the fact that some of them are objectively harder than any you've done up until now. But complaining won't get us anywhere - check the two trophies below for more details on each set of challenges, and you'll find your way through.
Completed all Normal Challenges in the Motörhead World
Completed all Elite Challenges in the Motörhead World
Stage 3: Hardcore Hard Playthrough
Finally, it's time for your most difficult challenge yet - playing through the story with one life, on Hard Mode, from scratch. It won't be easy, not one bit, but life wouldn't be exciting if it were, eh? Do the Killmeister proud and cap this off by proving yourself to be among the best of the best.Rest in peace, Lemmy, you magnificent son of a gun.

End of Time Completed the Motörhead story |

This is actually distinct from
Eat the Rich, unlike the Gabriel-related trophies in the main game - once you've beaten all three bosses and return to The Pub at the End of Time, you'll unlock elite challenges for all of the maps, and then this will pop.

One Short Life Completed the Motörhead story on Hardcore Hard Mode |
|
|
Just when you thought the Hard mode from the base game was as difficult as it was gonna get, along comes Hardcore Hard Mode. Essentially, Hardcore Mode is this game's equivalent of a permadeath system: your character doesn't die forever and lose all progression if he hits zero health, but the "Hardcore" part of the difficulty is removed from the save file and it's permanently downgraded to just hard, meaning that if you die once this trophy can't be popped on that file anymore. Moreover, Hardcore characters cannot share inventory with regular characters, so you don't even get the main perk of the main game's Hard Mode run and basically have to start from scratch (i.e. starting a new file in the base game, making it to Castle Zagore and choosing your outfit, then making your difficulty selection and choosing Hardcore Hard for the character), all on a mode that's harder than Normal Mode with 5 Hexes (all of which are permanently active on Hard Mode, just for funsies), and the death glitch simply does not work here - the SECOND you die, the Hardcore status is removed from your save file and there's absolutely no way to prevent the game from counting it like deaths on normal mode. In short, it's the single biggest challenge you'll face in pursuit of the 100% for this game.
However, there lies an exploit in the game's co-op system that will make this only take about an hour or so, but it will require an experienced partner who's already beaten both the main game and this DLC and thus knows what to do on top of having a powerful build to pull it off with, as well as PS+ for save file backups (though you'd need it anyway for co-op in this game, so at least that part's taken care of).
Here are the steps:
Now, you could do this legitimately on your own instead - nothing in the game is stopping you from that - but that easily bumps this DLC to a 9 or 10 out of 10 in difficulty and adds at least 30 hours to the playtime. If you want to endure that kind of headache and prove yourself as a god-tier epic gamer, by all means, but like the deathless trophy from the main game this strategy is help everyone, not just the best of the best of the best of the best of the best, get through this challenge. That said, genuine props to you if you can do this solo.
Once you've beaten the Queen of the Damned (or been present for it) and returned to The Pub at the End of Time, thus unlocking elite challenges which you surely have no intention of even attempting on this file, the trophy will pop. Moreover, you'll be able to use this character for the two Hardcore Hard trophies in the Fractured Worlds DLC, which will save you a whole lot of time and give you a much stronger start. Well done.
Here are the steps:
- Make a Hardcore Hard character in the base game, selecting the Cavalier's Outfit.
- Find a partner, either through the Gaming Sessions or in your friend list if one of them has played through this game too, and have them use their main file with their strongest character; you'll be initiating co-op in this game by either inviting them to your game or finding and joining their game under "Browse Games" in the International Lobby.
- From here, once you've played through the prologue of the Motörhead story (favoring your Meteor demon power to take out enemies, who will give you a whole lot of trouble otherwise) and reached The Pub at the End of Time, you'll essentially be cheesing every step of the fairly short story questline by doing the following:
- Backup your save to the cloud by returning to the XMB screen, pressing
on the Victor Vran application and selecting "Upload/Download Saved Data", and overwriting the existing save data with your current data; make sure to turn off automatic uploading of the game's save data to the cloud in the Settings menu under Application Saved Data Management.
- Have your partner go to whatever map you're being told to head to alone so they can either progress all the way to the boss arena or whittle down the boss's health until it's nearly dead, at which point you will use the "Teleport to Player" function found by selecting your partner on the upper left of the pause menu and quickly join them wherever they are, either to progress the game's tracking to the next part of the story (e.g. "Reach Heart of Destruction" -> "Return to The Pub at the End of Time") or gain credit for them killing one of the three bosses, where you'll be running around surviving as best you can while your partner does all the heavy lifting.
- Every single time you return to The Pub at the End of Time with your Hardcore status intact, quit the game and overwrite your saved data immediately; moreover, every single time you die, you'll be using your cloud save data to overwrite your current save data (the later of the two timestamps/the save data on the left half of the screen), which will "restore" your Hardcore status and prevent you from losing all that progress. This will save a LOT of hassle because, even playing as carefully you can, you're liable to die at least half a dozen times during this process - far, far less than if you did it legit, but enough to set you back notably without this preparation.
- For the Queen of the Damned specifically, her defeat counting for the story is contingent on you seeing the introductory cutscene for her boss fight, which is triggered when you spawn on or run over the checkpoint that the teleporter leads to, as well as you being close to her when she finally goes down; however, because of how hectic the boss fight itself is (particularly with all the Champions and those DAMN hellhounds running all over the place to kill you in a couple hits each) and the Queen herself getting an additional phase of health when you join as a second player, the usual method of teleporting in just as your teammate is about to finish the fight isn't going to work here and you're liable to waste a lot of time dying, overwriting your save data, and booting up again.
- Instead, have your ally go to The Chalice first and teleport to them (you can't enter on your own unless you're at least level 18), then use the teleporter to enter the boss arena, trigger the cutscene, and immediately teleport back to your companion waiting on the upper hallway with the teleporter and have them head down to begin the fight. You can now wait out almost the entire fight up here, staying several yards back from the railing to avoid getting killed by the ranged attacks of any gargoyles that happen to pass by, and the ending cutscene will play once the Queen of the Damned is slain while you're close to her (if she's about to die and on the opposite end of the hall, you'll need to have your partner clear out the nearby enemies, then teleport down with the pad and run over to her before she dies); from here, use the teleporter to head back down to the arena, collect the loot, avoid the remaining enemies and run to the other end to return to the Pub at the End of Time.
- The exact order of events to complete the story is: Go to The Pub at the End of Time -> Go to The World of Wars -> Reach Heart of Destruction -> Return to The Pub at the End of Time -> Reach Heart of Destruction -> Slay Warpig Machine -> Return to The Pub at the End of Time -> Go to The Weird West -> Reach Terminus Est -> Slay Orgasmotron -> Return to The Pub at the End of Time -> Go to The Dark Ages -> Reach the Screaming Pathway -> Reach The Chalice -> Slay the Queen of the Damned -> Return to The Pub at the End of Time. Again, save after every milestone here (except the penultimate one, since the end of the story is right after that).
- It goes without saying, but if your partner doesn't already have this trophy by the time that they're helping you, be courteous and return the favor by switching roles and playing through the story for them, using the same tricks and strategies outlined above.
- A million thanks to Arregacador from this very site for outlining this strategy and assisting with proving it completely viable.
- Backup your save to the cloud by returning to the XMB screen, pressing

Orgasmatron Defeated Orgasmatron |
|
|
Orgasmotron is a truly hellish train built by the Preacher to destroy Snaggletooth, and it's up to you to decommission it. You'll find this train in Terminus Est as part of the story.
It's got four phases, each marked by a notch on its health bar:
Once the infernal train is derailed, the trophy will pop.
It's got four phases, each marked by a notch on its health bar:
- At 100%-76% health, Orgasmotron will be careening across the intersecting rails, appearing from and disappearing into random entrances lining the map with cannons firing on either side of its chassis. Focus on pelting it with weapon attacks and demon powers of your choice. Periodically, skeletons riding trolleys will appear on the tracks; destroy these trolleys to temporarily slow down Orgasmotron and give yourself more time to deal damage to it.
- At 75%-51% health, there's no appreciable difference in Orgasmotron's strategy, but many more regular enemies will begin spawning around you as a hindrance - AOE demon powers will do nicely to clear them out.
- At 50%-26% health, Orgasmotro's cannons will do noticeably more damage, and Undead Brutes will join the ranks of skeletons assaulting you; keep an eye on your health and maintain your previous strategy, but also stay on the move as best you can.
- At 25%-1% health, Orgasmotron will be firing missiles from the rear as well, and every enemy in the area will be converging on you. Stick to demon powers for Orgasmotron itself and weapon attacks for the skeletons, and you should clear this soon.
Once the infernal train is derailed, the trophy will pop.

Warpig Machine Defeated the Warpig Machine |
|
|
The Warpig Machine is the corrupted version of Snaggletooth constructed by the Führer to wage war across the worlds, and it's up to you to stop it. You'll find him in the Heart of Destruction as part of the story.
He's got five phases, each marked by a notch on his health bar:
Once the Warpig Machine has been dismantled, the trophy will pop.
He's got five phases, each marked by a notch on his health bar:
- At 100%-81% health, the Warpig Machine will be turning around, raining missiles either radially or from the launchers on his shoulders. Keep moving, stick to his sides to evade the missiles, and wail away on him with your choice of weapons and demon powers - be mindful that he will occasionally heal himself, indicated by a prism appearing over his body, and will keep doing so until you damage him. Occasionally, he'll also charge headlong at you, and if you evade him he'll hit a wall and collapse for a few seconds, allowing you to unleash tons of damage on him with impunity (so long as you use a demon power, as regular attacks will be nullified anywhere but his head).
- At 80%-61% health, the Warpig Machine will start slamming his body on the ground to send out rolling bombs that detonate on contact, as well as Undead Soldiers to start taking potshots at you. Continue moving, taking out the Undead Soldiers whenever you can and evading the bombs (which roll linearly and spread out at a distance) while hammering the Warpig Machine with ranged attacks.
- At 60%-41% health, nothing observably changes - just keep up your assault.
- At 40%-21% health, the Warpig Machine will start breathing fire and rotating much faster than he was in the previous phases to keep up with you. Do your best to keep near his tail and continue your attacks, as he can't do a 180-degree flip to account for you being there.
- At 20%-1% health, the Warpig Machine brings in very annoying hellhounds to pounce on you and deal lots of damage very fast - focus on AOE effects like demon powers here for crowd control and continue whittling down his health.
Once the Warpig Machine has been dismantled, the trophy will pop.

Eat the Rich Defeated the Queen of the Damned |
|
|
The Queen of the Damned is the tyrant ruling over The Dark Ages and the final boss of the storyline. You'll find her in The Chalice, a sub-dungeon at the end of the Screaming Pathway.
Her fight is divided into four phases, each marked by a notch on her health bar:
Once the vile temptress is no more, the trophy will pop. Congratulations!
Her fight is divided into four phases, each marked by a notch on her health bar:
- At 100%-76% health, the Queen of the Damned will set up several red miasma pools on the floor that will drain your health when you step in them (these will randomly change position every couple minutes or so throughout the fight) and then start firing homing projectiles that not only do a good chunk of damage on impact, but also leave a small Weaken-inflicting field behind to hinder you further. Meanwhile, you'll have all sorts of monsters and Champions attacking you and, just to keep things interesting, respawning some time after you kill them, over and over and over. So keep your distance and focus on demon powers to whittle down her health just as quickly.
- At 75%-51% health, the Queen of the Damned will encase herself in a protective barrier and summon three Souls of the Damned; you won't be able to damage her again until they're all dead, so look all over the map for them (they have special icons on the minimap) and slay them as quick as you can. Once you've done this, the Queen of the Damned will emerge with a new melee spinning attack, similar to a scythe's
attack, that thankfully doesn't do too much damage but will cause her to home right in on you.
- At 50%-26% health, the Queen of the Damned will once again make herself invulnerable and summon three more Souls of the Damned for you to slay before you can continue the fight. Once she's back, she'll start draining your health much faster with an AOE effect, usually right after getting close to you with her spinning attack, so make sure to keep your distance and don't be afraid to run to the other side of the map to recover your health - she's going to stick close to the eastern side at her blood bath, and she can't recover health, so there's no risk or downside to this strategy.
- At 25%-1% health, the Queen of the Damned will summon three Souls of the Damned and protect herself for the final time; when she's back in the fray, focus on using Sunray to whittle down the last of her health, as she'll be largely stationary and casting AOE effects.
Once the vile temptress is no more, the trophy will pop. Congratulations!

Tell Me Who To Kill Completed all Normal Challenges in the Motörhead World |
|
|
This and
Live To Win will be the grindiest trophies in this expansion for you and contribute the most significantly to the 100% playtime total. Every dungeon/realm section in the Motörhead world has 5 normal challenges to complete by fulfilling specific and occasionally completely unique conditions when killing enemies or traversing a level (such as "without dying", "with a shotgun", "within 240 seconds", etc), which reset whenever you reset an area or return to The Pub at the End of Time, but which can also be done 2 at a time or across multiple runs of the same area for challenges that simply cannot be done simultaneously (e.g. "kill 30 enemies with demon powers" and "kill 30 enemies without using demon powers" in an area with <60 enemies total). They also vary wildly in simplicity and difficulty, such that you're likely to get more than a few unintentionally while simply playing through the expansion normally; a given dungeon can have 4 completely straightforward and doable challenges capped off by an absolutely ridiculous and frustrating 5th challenge (and it only gets worse with the Elite challenges), on top of many challenges asking you to use Hexes and suffer even more while you're at it, and total to 80 challenges across 16 areas - thankfully, that's less than half of the main game's total, so this grind won't be quite as bad as that one was.
The optimal build for the majority of these challenges, hereafter referred to as the Shockwave Build, is as follows:
This build is focused on running around spamming demon powers (mainly Shockwave) and refilling your health bar as needed with potions, which will be available frequently due to The Alchemist - make sure to stock up on them every time you drop below 100 total, as they're fairly cheap and always sold by Damian at Castle Zagore in a stock quantity of 99. The sheer damage you'll be outputting will be enough to kill most enemies easily, keeping the rest away from you in the process to fully prevent or just minimize damage, and with enough skill (which you'll undoubtedly accrue as you try several of these challenges over and over again), it will carry you through most of the game.
However, many challenges explicitly forbid you from using demon powers or want you to slay enemies with specific weapon types instead; for such occasions, refer to the following build, hereafter referred to as the Chicken Cannon Build:
This build revolves around letting you dish out lots of critical, ranged mortar weapon damage with the Chicken Cannon and normal melee damage with your legendary hammer of choice, with some flexibility based on the constraints of the challenge you're working on; for example, if no potions, demon powers, or shrines are allowed, your only option for healing is weapon attacks with The Vampires equipped and the
attack of the hammer. You'll also be able to do no-damage runs by playing it very safe and barraging enemies from a distance with the Chicken Cannon, which (like all mortars) has the helpful
attack which Cripples any enemy who passes through it to give you some breathing room. If demon powers are permitted in a given challenge, consider using Berserk Aura to further increase your damage output.
Below is a list of each area in the game and its normal challenges, starting from the starting area of The World of Wars and proceeding in the order that the areas become accessible in; notes/advice/strategies are provided only for the tricky/frustrating ones, as the rest are straightforward and usually just require some exploration, so in the interest of space they won't be listed here. Keep in mind that for all challenges not involving the use of Hexes, you can safely switch to Casual Mode in the pause menu for a notably easier time without penalty. For all challenges asking you to find secrets (assuming you didn't get them all out of the way before starting this part), refer to
Lost Johnny. Oh, and keep an eye out for what each challenge doesn't prevent you from doing, e.g. using consumables or shrines; you'd be surprised how many seemingly-insurmountable conditions become a lot more doable once you realize that you don't need to worry about taking damage and/or respawning for them, just as an example.
One more note: if you're fortunate enough to get the Lucky Rabbit's Foot that grants 100% critical chance for 5 seconds, many challenges involving Overkills and no damage runs will become much easier, but there's no guaranteed way to get it, so don't count on that for help.
- A fully upgraded Cavalier's Outfit or Samurai's Outfit, granting 180 Overdrive per second.
- Health potions in both item/consumable slots.
- A fully upgraded Zealous weapon (increasing the speed of the Overdrive meter filling) in both weapon slots, making Overdrive generation a total of 220% faster.
- A legendary Shockwave and Sunray in your demon power slots; the former will be your most used power for both crowd-control and damage, but the latter also offers great damage at a range and over a longer period of time.
- 1 rare The Alchemist, 2-3 (depending on level) legendary The Obelisks, and 2 rare The Towers; The Alchemist will lower the cooldown of consumables by 40%, The Obelisks will increase demon power damage by 60-90%, and The Towers will cause the Overdrive bar to fill an additional 100% faster. Feel free to equip any Divine/Wicked variants of these cards of the same rarities/levels that you find as well.

- Health potions in both item/consumable slots.
- A fully upgraded Chicken Cannon (powerful legendary mortar weapon which you'll need for
Exploding Chickens at some point anyway) and a legendary hammer, such as Meteor, in your weapon slots for high damage output. - No demon powers in your slots, to avoid the risk of accidentally pressing

and ruining a "without using demon powers" challenge; if the challenge does permit the usage of demon powers, the optimal ones will be listed in its strategy.
- 2 rare Wildcards or legendary The Rogues, 1 legendary The Cannon, 1 legendary The Seer, and 1-2 rareThe Executioners or The Vampires for the following reasons:
- Wildcards substantially increase both your normal and critical damage for each card in your "hand".
- The Rogues focus solely on critical damage but increase it by 150% each.
- The Cannon increases critical damage by 100% for 1 second per enemy hit with a grenade and also inflicts Frailty (increasing incoming damage by 100%) on enemies whom you blast with
.
- The Seer increases your maximum destiny points by 4 and acts as an extra card for the Wildcards.
- The Executioners increase damage against enemies with less than half their health left by 40% each.
- The Vampires each heal you for 10% of the damage you inflict with every weapon attack
- Replace each of these with Divine/Wicked variants when possible.

Frozen Hearth Cave
- Slay 10 Champions - can stack with the 1st elite challenge if you're fast enough.
- Slay Herja with a Tome - she's a Champion Succubus Witch that spawns in the secret area to the southeast of the map. With the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode, whittle her health down with Sunray, then finish her off with a tome of your choice, preferably a Legendary one if you have it available.
- Slay Fenrir with a Hammer - he's a Champion Frostfall Gargoyle that you'll encounter on the way to the first Monument of Rock. Using the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode, whittle down his health with Sunray, then finish him off with a hammer of your choice.
- Slay the 3 Champion Corrupted Norns with Revolvers - these gargoyles are the final wave of the first Monument of Rock, and boy are they a hassle, since they can heal by damaging you. With the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode, clear out all the preceding waves and nearby enemies, then begin whittling down each of the Norns' health with Sunray, preferably one at a time; once one is close to dying, finish him off with the revolver pair of your choice, preferably a Legendary one for the increased damage, and repeat the process for the other two. You can expect this to take multiple tries due to the Norns either killing you or accidentally being killed by your demon powers, so be patient.
- Slay Hlokk with a Guitar - she's a succubus who appears in the final wave of the westernmost Monument of Rock. Using the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode, whittle down her health with one usage of Shockwave, then finish her off with the Killmeister.
The Slaughterhouse
- Slay 3 Succubus Swordsmaidens with Demon Powers - use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode.
- Slay 3 Succubus Witches while you are affected by Brutality - normally, Brutality kills are best performed with the Chicken Cannon Build, but since the Succubus Witches are both tough and deadly, you'll instead want to set up the Shockwave Build with Sunray swapped out for your highest-rarity Berserk Aura, then activate that, go to the nearest Succubus Witch, slay her with Shockwave, and retreat to safety while swapping Berserk Aura back out for Sunray to let your Overdrive meter refill. Repeat twice more to complete this.
- Slay Lady Erzebeth within 360 seconds - she's the final wave of the first Monument of Rock you come across. Use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode for this one.
- Slay Soulfikar without using Potions and Demon Powers - he's a Champion Reaper located on the eastern side of the map. Since you're allowed to die, set up the Chicken Cannon Build, go to his location after activating the checkpoint, and focus on clearing out the many enemies accompanying him; once they're all dead, you can turn your attention to Soulfikar himself, making sure to use nearby shrines to increase your damage and refill health when appropriate.
Diseased Cellar
- Slay 2 Succubus Swordmaidens - they spawn in the northern Monument of Rock. Use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode.
- Slay 3 Succubus Hound Mistresses With Melee Attacks - one spawns outside the northern Monument of Rock, the other two spawn during said Monument's waves. For each, use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode to whittle down their health with Sunray, then finish them off with a melee weapon of your choice.
- Slay 2 Succubus Witches With Ranged Attacks - they both spawn during the waves of the southern Monument of Rock, the first one normal and the second one a Champion. For each, use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode to whittle down their health with Sunray, then finish them off with a ranged weapon of your choice.
- Slay 2 Succubus Virtuosi without using Shrines - these spawn during the waves of both Monuments of Rock, so complete both with the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode.
- Slay the Abomination without using Potions - he's a Champion Earthshaker Scorpion waiting on the eastern side of the map, so rush over to him with the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode and take him out with your demon powers.
Screaming Pathway
- Slay 3 Vampire Knights without taking damage - this will stack with the 1st elite challenge.
- Slay Siena while above 50% Health without using Potions - this will stack with the 2nd elite challenge.
- Slay 3 Tyrant Succubus Swordmaidens - this will stack with the 3rd elite challenge.
- Slay Zeal with Demon Powers - this will stack with the 4th elite challenge.
- Slay the 2 Sisters of Mercy without using Potions - this will stack with the 5th elite challenge...clearly the devs wanted this to be the most efficient dungeon of them all, or something.
The Chalice
- Slay Queen of the Damned with Revolvers - once she's nearly dead, finish her off with a revolver pair of your choice, preferably Legendary.
- Slay Queen of the Damned with Guitar - once she's nearly dead, finish her off with the Killmeister, for Lemmy's sake.
- Slay 10 Champions - this will stack with the 2nd elite challenge.
- Slay Queen of the Damned with 3 active Hexes - this will stack with the 5th elite challenge.
- Slay Queen of the Damned without using Potions and Shrines - this one can be tricky due to how long the fight is and how much damage is coming your way, but it can be done. You'll want to use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode here like usual and progress through the fight, but between phases when you have time to breath, if you're below 50% health, swap out one of your demon powers for Sanguine Aura, turn it on, then add a legendary Hope destiny card to your hand when the healing stops, and finally remove both the demon power and the destiny card from your build; this should leave you with about 75% health, which should be quite enough. Any Divine destiny cards that heal you whenever your Overdrive meter completely fills are also extremely useful here.

Live To Win Completed all Elite Challenges in the Motörhead World |
|
|
This and
Tell Me Who To Kill will be the grindiest trophies in this expansion for you and contribute the most significantly to the 100% playtime total. Every dungeon/realm section in the Motörhead world has 5 elite challenges, unlocked after beating the story/the Queen of the Damned for the first time, to complete by fulfilling specific and occasionally completely unique conditions when killing enemies or traversing a level (such as "without dying", "with a shotgun", "within 240 seconds", etc), which reset whenever you reset an area or return to The Pub at the End of Time, but which can also be done 2 at a time or across multiple runs of the same area for challenges that simply cannot be done simultaneously (e.g. "kill 30 enemies with demon powers" and "kill 30 enemies without using demon powers" in an area with <60 enemies total). These are, on the whole, harder than the normal challenges to varying degrees; most want you to use Hexes and you'll definitely find the most frustrating experiences in the entire game here. They total to 80 challenges across 16 areas - thankfully, that's less than half of the main game's total, so this grind won't be quite as bad as that one was.
Credit and thanks to Venuminostrates for the video guide/strategy.
- An upgraded (fully or otherwise) Zealot's Outfit, increasing your health and armor.
- Health potions in both item/consumable slots.
- A fully upgraded Chicken Cannon (powerful legendary mortar weapon which you'll need for
Exploding Chickens at some point anyway) and a legendary hammer, such as Meteor, in your weapon slots for high damage output. - No demon powers in your slots, to avoid the risk of accidentally pressing
or
and ruining a "without using demon powers" challenge; if the challenge does permit the usage of demon powers, the optimal ones will be listed in its strategy.
The World of Wars
- Overkill 150 Monsters with Guitar - with the Chicken Cannon Build on Casual Mode and the Killmeister in hand, go around targeting skeletons, hellhounds, and succubi, and you should complete this in no time; the
attack is particularly useful.
- Slay the Napalm Queen with 5 Hexes - she's located to the north of the map in a copse of dead trees. Use the Shockwave Build here.
- Slay 5 Reapers with Demon Powers - these guys are located all over the No Man's Land middle section of the map, so you'll have to do a lot of exploring to spawn and then kill them with the Shockwave Build. Don't forget to visit the small section to the western portion of this area, just to the left of the topmost section of the trenches, for a particularly well-hidden one.
- Slay 10 Champions without using Potions - use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode and explore everywhere, including all the waves of the Monuments of Rock, and remember that health shrines are still fair game, as is Sanguine Aura.
- Slay 2 Firestorms while affected by Frailty without dying - these spawn during the final wave of the northern Monument of Rock, and to be affected with Frailty you'll have to leave the two Ravenous Souls that spawn with them alive so they can set up large blue areas that inflict Frailty whenever you step inside them, from which you'll be slaying the Firestorms.
Bedeviled Vault
- Slay 40 Hellhounds With Ranged Attacks within 120 seconds - use the Chicken Cannon Build on Casual Mode for this one; you should get enough kills by going along the main path of the dungeon.
- Slay 5 Forgotten Kings within 120 seconds without using Potions - these are the green wraiths, so use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode to take them out with a single Shockwave usage each (excepting the Champion one in the second room).
- Slay the 2 Cleansing Ones with 4 active Hexes within 120 seconds - this is definitely one of the hardest challenges in the DLC and the game as a whole. These spawn during the final wave of the northern Monument of Rock, and you're going to be cutting it extremely close to the time limit no matter how fast you get there since you need to clear all the preceding waves first. Set up the Shockwave Build with a destiny card of your choice swapped out for a copy of The Runner, then dash through the dungeon as fast as you can to reach this area (pausing to add the swapped card back to your hand once you get there) and start taking out the enemies with Shockwave, as quick as you can. Optimally, these two will spawn with about 25 seconds left on the clock, so do your best to take them out in that time - the recommended Hex to leave inactive here is Hex of Tenacity, as you need the enemies to die as quickly as possible.
- Slay 100 Monsters within 120 seconds with 4 active Hexes - another extremely frustrating challenge for similar reasons as above. Once again, you'll want to leave the Hex of Tenacity inactive so as to rack up kills as quickly as possible, but that leaves the enemies doing lots and lots of damage to you with only one checkpoint halfway through the map, and you really can't afford to die and still complete this challenge after respawning, so this will take many, many tries with the Shockwave Build and liberal potion usage. Be very patient.
- Slay 2 Hellhound Omegas with Demon Powers within 120 seconds - these are the big blue hellhounds, and you'll find both pretty quickly if you run through the corridors with the Shockwave Build set up.
The Furnace
- Overkill 30 Essences with 5 active Hexes - use the Shockwave Build and aim for the Lesser Essences left behind by the big ones.
- Slay 15 Succubi Firestarters while you are affected by Brutality - use the Chicken Cannon Build with Berserk Aura equipped and go to town on them; you should get these kills pretty quickly.
- Slay 50 Monsters without dying and without using Potions and Demon Powers - use the Chicken Cannon Build and all the shrines you can find, focusing on the weaker succubi and Lesser Essences you come across, and this shouldn't be too hard.
- Slay 70 Monsters within 180 seconds with 5 active Hexes - Shockwave Build, end of story.
- Slay Hellhound Alpha While Above 80% health without using Potions - the only Hellhound Alpha on the map is a Champion located right next to a Monument of Rock, so you can't just rush into this one. With the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode, move slowly through the dungeon and kill every enemy you come across; don't move into a room until it's totally empty. When you reach the checkpoint, you'll find this guy roaming nearby, so use Sunray and Shockwave simultaneously to take him out right away (feel free to swap in a Diamond over either if you're having trouble avoiding damage as well).
Wicked Garrison
- Overkill 30 Essences within 120 seconds - target Lesser Essences with the Shockwave Build like normal.
- Slay Murderlady with 5 active Hexes - she's located in the northernmost section of the map. Use the Shockwave Build here.
- Slay Succubus Swordmaiden without dying and without using Potions - set up the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode for this one.
- Slay 4 Dark Knights While Above 50% health - you'll meet three of them along the way, but the fourth is near the northernmost secret of the map and is a Champion, so be careful and use the Shockwave Build to keep them all at bay.
- Slay 40 Monsters without taking damage - Doable, but annoying. You'll want to use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode and target Essences/Lesser Essences like usual, but keep in mind that two Essences of Lightning and three Lesser Essences of Plague will spawn basically on top of you as you walk into certain rooms, so you'll want to keep Diamond on instead of Shockwave and use it while you're taking them out with Sunray to avoid voiding this challenge.
Heart of Destruction
- Slay Warpig Machine with Demon Powers within 120 seconds - use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode here, like usual.
- Slay Warpig Machine with 5 active Hexes - the Shockwave Build is your best bet here since you can attack from any side with it. Definitely use the double damage shrine on the wall and take out normal enemies as they appear for your own sake.
- Slay Warpig Machine While Above 50% health without using Potions - this will stack with the 5th elite challenge.
- Slay Warpig Machine without using Potions with Hex of Malice - this will stack with the 5th elite challenge.
- Slay Warpig Machine without taking Damage with 3 active Hexes - this is one of the most ridiculous challenges in all of Victor Vran, primarily due to just how many damage sources there are in this fight. In fact, it's so ludicrous that it basically necessitates a third unique build from the two you've been using up until now: you'll want, nay, need to craft the Ember talisman and Transmute its damage up as high as you can (hopefully with a decent/reasonable energy condition on it), then set up something similar to the Chicken Cannon Build with a larger focus on damage, e.g. Death and Wildcard destiny cards. Finally, equip the Killmeister, hopefully with a The Bard destiny card accompanying it, and a legendary Diamond with the usual Cavalier's Outfit to start the fight with your Overdrive meter maxed out.
- Once the fight begins (with Hex of Malice, Hex of Pain, and Hex of Tyranny active) immediately use Diamond and begin working to fulfill the energy condition of Ember, whether it be dealing damage with normal attacks, using demon powers, etc. until it's full (optimally damaging Warpig Machine in the meanwhile) and then set it off to take a huge chunk of health off of him, either killing him right there and then or letting you finish him off with a few more attacks/demon powers. This will definitely take multiple tries, so be patient. Below is an alternative method if you've got the loot for it:
Credit and thanks to Venuminostrates for the video guide/strategy.
The Weird West
- Slay 20 Undead Soldiers While Above 50% health without using Potions - use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode here. You'll find the majority of these guys in the town on the western side of the map; several will be out of reach to your normal attacks, so use Meteor to take them out and a copy of The Phoenix to keep them down.
- Slay 10 Scorpion Bashers affected by Brutality with Hex of Malice - with the Shockwave Build set up and a Berserk Aura swapped in for Shockwave, begin circling the map in search of these guys; they're pretty distinctive with their white carapaces. Once you find one, activate Berserk Aura, get close to it, and kill it with Sunray. Thankfully, you can die and respawn without voiding the challenge.
- Slay 8 Undead Fools while you are affected by Frailty - this one's a bit wonky. Normally, you could do this with the Frailty-inflicting circle set up by the Champion wraith in the graveyard that you find these guys in, but for whatever reason the status will vanish after a single kill here, and you're liable to get killed by the wraith while you're working on this; instead, with the Shockwave Build, enter the graveyard and kill all the monsters in each wave other than the sombrero-wearing Undead Fools, then let them cast debuffs on you until they inflict Frailty, at which point you kill one and repeat the process. This is the safest way to rack up the eight kills.
- Slay 2 Hellhound Alphas without dying with 5 active Hexes - these are in the two final waves of the northeastern Monument of Rock.
Vanishing Wellspring
- Slay 50 Monsters affected by Brutality - with the Shockwave Build set up, head over to the Berserk Aura area and start luring succubi into the field, then kill them with Sunray. The Monument of Rock nearby will also let you farm these kills on the skeletons in the second wave.
- Slay 3 Reapers within 120 seconds with Hex of Malice - all three of them appear during the first Monument of Rock's waves, so head over there with the Shockwave Build set up and take them out.
- Slay 2 Demon Spiders without dying with 5 active Hexes - the two Demon Spiders in question appear in the southeastern, greener area of the map once you've slain the majority of the succubi there. It's best to do this separately from the 5th elite challenge, as they can and will do a lot of damage to you with all 5 Hexes turned on, not to mention the enemies preceding them; for both, use the Shockwave Build to keep them slowed down and at bay with Shockwave while whittling their health down with Sunray.
- Slay Scorpion Earthshaker within 60 seconds - this holds a distinct classification within Victor Vran's challenges as one that's not just extremely frustrating, but also borderline impossible to do solo; the only Scorpion Earthshaker on the entire map is Death, who spawns at the final wave of the first Monument of Rock, and there's simply no way to get over there and clear all the enemies (especially since the succubi at the nearby Berserk Aura field will walk over and actively prevent him from appearing until they're also killed) in the measly 60 seconds allotted to you here with the vast majority of builds/loot that you can acquire in the game unless you get reeeeeeeeeeeally lucky with RNG on your chosen Talismans and such.
- For the rest of us, the literal only way to do this is with a partner who has the DLC - have them enter the area from the Pub first while you wait there, then have them signal you once Death is spawned so you can enter the dungeon, run over, and kill him within 60 seconds, which will count for the challenge (then flip the positions and do the same for your partner if they don't have the challenge completed already, out of courtesy). Sucks that a challenge in this game basically requires a second player when it really shouldn't, but them's the breaks.
- Slay 2 Demon Spiders without dying and without using Potions - see the 3rd elite challenge above.
Dead Man's Mine
- Overkill a dozen of Em' Cassidy Boys without dying - these are Champion skeletons located around the map, so go for the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode and search thoroughly in each section of the dungeon for them; there's more than 12 total, thankfully.
- Slay 5 Scorpion Champions with 5 active Hexes without dying - this is harder than most "Kill X Champions with 5 Hexes" challenges are by virtue of the hundreds of poison-inflicting scorpions that will be swarming around you in basically every room of the map, particularly the first one. You'll need the Shockwave Build and a lot of health potions to get through this one, and don't be afraid to hang back and heal before proceeding after each fight. Also, one of the Champions is hidden next to the double damage shrine on the walkway near the big Miner's Madness scorpion (who you'll be slaying for this as well), so make sure to jump up there and take him out too.
- Slay Miner's Madness within 120 seconds with 5 active Hexes - with the Shockwave Build set up, run through the area to the narrow canyon-like section, take out the bigger scorpions there, and then focus your attention on this guy; Shockwave will do well to keep him back while you hack away at his health.
- Slay 3 Succubus Swordmaiden Champions with Melee attacks without dying - these enemies spawn near the end of the map, but not as Champions; you'll actually need to let them run around and attack for about 30 seconds before they perform a...suggestive dance and then transform/evolve into Tyrants, which will count for this challenge since they don't come from Hex of Tyranny. With the Shockwave Build set up, whittle their health down with Sunray, then finish them off with a melee weapon of your choice - you know the drill by now.
- Slay 3 Hellhound Alphas With Ranged Attacks without dying - these only spawn from Emerancia Sunkenshire at the end of the map, and it's entirely up to RNG whether she'll spawn Hellhound Alphas or other varieties, so this can take a while. Use the Shockwave Build and kill any non-Alphas you see with Sunray, then use the Chicken Cannon to actually kill the Alphas once they appear.
Windswept Canyon
- Slay 10 Scorpion Barragers without taking damage - this can seem extremely difficult like the 4th elite challenge from Vanishing Wellspring at first, but it's actually deceptively simple. There may only be 10 Scorpion Barragers spawned on the map initially - 3 Champions right before the first walkway, another Champion in a side area of the walkway that you have to leap down to, and 6 normal ones on the last wave of the second Monument of Rock - but you can actually spawn 7 more in the first portion of the area by killing other enemies first; taking out the small scorpions in the canyon at the start will cause 4 Barragers to rise up, and if you stick around after slaying the 3 Champions, 3 more will take their place, all for a total of 10 in a fairly small area that's more than possible to cover in 120 seconds (referring to the 2nd normal challenge). The tricky part here is avoiding damage, as not only do 6 of these Barragers have randomized, often long-range demon powers, but the two groups of Barragers are located on either side of the first Monument of Rock that you risk triggering the start of, and thus the enemy waves of, by walking past it on your way to the Champions.
- Here's the solution: set up the Shockwave Build on casual mode with a legendary Diamond replacing the Sunray and start playing a game of blitzkrieg with the scorpions ahead by running up with Diamond active, wiping out as many as you can with a usage of Shockwave (thus draining your Overdrive meter), then retreating to a safe distance with Diamond "turned off" by swapping Sunray back in while the enemies behind you lose interest and return to their positions, rinsing and repeating once your Overdrive meter refills until all enemies are dead. When you get to the Champions group specifically, forgo the Diamond in favor of Sunray to keep your Overdrive regeneration constant and start running around so you can spam Shockwave while staying on the move to avoid enemy attacks - thankfully, even the Champions should go down in a single usage each if all three attacks hit them and they take a second to actually use their demon powers once you get close enough, so you shouldn't have much trouble here.
- Slay 9 Scorpion Artilleries while above 50% health - use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode and make liberal use of your potions for this one; definitely clear out areas before moving on to avoid dropping below the threshold.
- Slay 10 Champions With Ranged Attacks While Above 50% health - with the Chicken Cannon Build on Casual Mode, you can get this fairly easily as long as you keep your distance from enemies and take out the annoying ranged attacks like Firestarter Succubi ASAP. Taking out all 6 Champion Scorpion Barragers right at the start helps a lot too.
- Slay Treachery without using Potions while above 50% Health - using the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode, just run past all the other enemies, clearing crowds with Shockwave when needed, and head for Treachery's spawning point to focus entirely on him with your demon powers until he's dead. If you're careful, you shouldn't take too much damage from this.
- Slay the 6 Prejudiced Ones with 5 active Hexes within 180 seconds - as with the 4th elite challenge above, you'll want to run past all other enemies to get to this group and take them out with the Shockwave Build. Thankfully, you can use potions for this one, and the actual enemies aren't all that tough.
Terminus Est
- Slay 50 Monsters with a single Attack or Demon Power - 50 is near the maximum number of skeletons that spawn during a given round of this fight, so rather than relying on Shockwave with the Shockwave Build as you probably have for similar challenges in the past, instead you'll want to equip The Phoenix destiny card and rely on Sunray instead; wait for a mob of skeletons to come your way, then start blasting them and turning in an arc to get as many as possible, with The Phoenix keeping them down, hopefully completing this.
- Slay Orgasmotron with Hex of Tyranny - this will stack with the 3rd elite challenge below.
- Slay Orgasmotron with 5 active Hexes - with the Shockwave Build, this won't be too difficult, but roving gangs of enemies (now bolstered by Tyrants) can very easily take off large chunks of your health in seconds, so remember to focus on clearing them out between rounds and while attacking Orgasmotron itself.
- Slay Orgasmotron within 240 seconds with Hex of Tenacity - pretty easy with the Shockwave Build, provided that you spend every appearance of Orgasmotron attacking the train itself and not any nearby enemies.
- Slay Orgasmotron While Above 50% health with Hex of Malice - the trick here is to, once again, use the Shockwave Build and stick to the sides of the train while it's moving down the tracks because, just like with the Warpig Machine, its cannon shots will go right over your head and you'll be taking minimal damage. Just keep hammering it with Shockwave all the while.
The Dark Ages
- Slay 15 Champions without dying with Hex of Malice - worth noting that there are a few more than 15 Champions on the map total, but you'll still want to do all the Monuments of Rock as usual; the southern one actually spawns 4 Champions for you to slay. Otherwise, it's the standard Shockwave Build strategy.
- Slay the 2 Bloodgreed spiders without using Potions - Shockwave Build, Casual Mode, southern Monument of Rock, you know the drill.
- Slay the Iron Lady without dying while she is affected by Brutality - regardless of whether or not you're stacking this with the 3rd normal challenge, just equip and turn on Berserk Aura when the Iron Lady is nearly dead, get close to her, then finish her off.
- Slay the Extorter while above 50% Health - easily done with the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode.
- Slay the Castellan with a Guitar with 5 active Hexes - he's a Champion vampire who's lurking just outside the entrance to the Screaming Pathway in the southwestern corner of the map. For this, you'll want to come to him with the Shockwave Build set up, whittle his health down with Sunray, then finish him off with the Killmeister. There's a few other vampires joining him, but they're entirely manageable with the liberal application of Shockwave.
Frozen Hearth Cave
- Slay 8 Champions within 300 seconds - this cave is chock-full of Champion enemies, so this won't be hard at all by simply taking the standard path with the Shockwave Build set up on Casual Mode and doing the two Monuments of Rock.
- Slay 30 Spiders Spawned by Other Monsters with Hex of Time and Hex of Tyranny - the Spider Matrons spawned during the western Monument of Rock's waves will fill this purpose nicely, though you might find the horde of spiders and duo of Champion gargoyles just outside the entrance to that part of the cave to be very aggravating with their high damage/stun output. That said, once they're dealt with through the Shockwave Build and you've started the Monument, simply let the Spider Matrons do their thing and kill only the small spiders that come your way (as well as any non-spider enemies, just to keep things from getting too hectic).
- Slay the Champion Corrupted Norns with Melee Attacks with 5 Hexes - if you thought the Norns challenge in the normal set was annoying, well, buckle in. The same basic strategy of clearing all the previous waves of enemies from the Monument of Rock and then whittling down each Norn's health with Sunray from the Shockwave build applies here, but they're way tougher this time with all 5 Hexes on, as you might expect, so you'll have to be even more cautious than before here; stay on the move at all times, keep the group slowed down/Crippled with Shockwave as frequently as you can, and don't worry about catching other Norns in your beam when focusing on a single one, as they've got the health and armor to take it. Moreover, bring a high-damage melee weapon like a hammer for the finishing blow, as the Norns maintain their healing-through-damage ability and you don't want to give them that opportunity to prolong the fight.
- Slay Hlokk with Ranged attacks with 5 Hexes without dying - basically the same strategy as you used for Hlokk's normal challenge, just with the extra caution that comes from playing with all 5 Hexes turned on. Shockwave Build, whittle down health with Sunray, finish off with the Killmeister; you're an old pro at this by now.
- Slay Nidhogg with 5 Hexes without dying - he can be found right after the western Monument of Rock, and boy does he not mess around. As a Champion Earthshaker Scorpion, with all 5 Hexes on he can EASILY kill you with a single string of tail ground-pound attacks, so you'll want to kick things off with the Shockwave Build and keep him pushed back with Shockwave while doing the bulk of your damage with Sunray. He's not too scary once you've got this part down, but don't relax until he's dead all the same.
The Slaughterhouse
- Slay 50 Monsters with Demon Powers while above 50% health - easily done on Casual Mode with the Shockwave Build set up, plus or minus potion usage; there's lots of weak enemies for this one.
- Slay 40 Succubi without dying and without using Potions and Shrines - you can aim for this and the above challenge at the same time by spamming Shockwave with the eponymous build on Casual Mode, and if you come close to dying, use Sanguine Aura and Hope to recover.
- Slay Andrey with 5 active Hexes without dying - he's a Champion vampire in the middle area of the dungeon with all the side rooms, and you'll have to kill a lot of other vampires to get him to come out, but the Shockwave Build will make quick work of him afterward.
- Slay Lady Erzebeth without dying and without using Potions and Shrines - she's the final wave of the Monument of Rock in the first room of the dungeon. Clear all the preceding waves of enemies with the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode, then deal with the Lady herself through Sunray/stunning with Shockwave and you should be fine.
- Slay Soulfikar within 360 seconds with 5 active Hexes - as with the normal challenge for this guy, you're allowed to die and respawn at the nearby checkpoint without voiding the challenge, so if the normal enemies in the room are understandably giving you trouble with all 5 Hexes active, take them out first and then focus on Soulfikar, who isn't super durable and should go down fairly quickly.
Diseased Cellar
- Slay 2 Succubus Virtuosi with 5 Active Hexes - there's a couple ways you can go about this. Both Monuments of Rock spawn the enemies needed for this, but the northern one spawns 2 with a lot more enemies/damage coming your way while the southern one spawns 1 with fewer/weaker enemies to deal with. As such, you can either get both at once in the northern Monument if you feel that you can deal with the increased difficulty, or you can play through the southern Monument until the Virtuoso spawns in the last round, slay it, then let the Succubus Witch kill you and respawn at the checkpoint, which won't void the challenge and will let you get the second kill by going through the Monument waves again. Entirely up to you, though the Shockwave Build is recommended either way, of course.
- Slay 25 Hellhounds Spawned by Other Monsters without dying - as you'll recall from the normal challenges for this dungeon, there's 3 Succubus Hound Mistresses on the map, but for your own sanity you should grind out these kills on the solitary one outside the northern Monument of Rock instead of on the two spawned by said Monument, as that can get very chaotic very quickly. The Shockwave Build on Casual Mode will let you do this relatively pain-free, but even then it'll still take a while, so be patient.
- Slay 2 Succubus Witches with Melee Attacks - as with the normal challenge for this enemy type, you'll be going through the southern Monument of Rock using the Shockwave Build and whittling down each Witch's health with Sunray, but this time you'll be finishing them off with a melee weapon of your choice, optimally a hammer of some kind.
- Slay 2 Succubus Virtuosi While Above 50% health with Hex of Tyranny - since you can't dip below 50% health on this one, the respawn option isn't available; therefore, you'll have to do the northern Monument of Rock for this one (either first/only or second, though you may as well do first), using the Shockwave Build for crowd control as usual. But this is much more doable than the 5 Hexes one above.
- Slay the Abomination within 320 seconds with 5 active Hexes - like other challenges asking you to slay specific Champions with a time limit, you'll want to run right past every other enemy (which will unfortunately trigger one of the two Monuments of Rock and cause it to start spawning enemies, no matter which way you go) and confront the Abomination on the eastern side of the map with the usual Shockwave Build set up so you can start blasting him. Be wary of other enemies joining the battle; you can heal freely, but they can still do a lot of damage, and the Abomination himself is no pushover.
Screaming Pathway
- Slay 3 Vampire Knights within 180 seconds without taking damage - you no doubt know that Vampire Knights are extremely irritating enemies, and you'd be forgiven for thinking this challenge would be very rough, but with patience and tactical rolling, it's entirely doable on your first try. You'll be going in with (brace yourself for a real shocker) the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode once more and clearing out the hallway that you start in of its Thrall Hulks, Succubus Firestarters, and wraiths before heading into the first two side rooms, each of which contains a Vampire Knight and the second of which has two Succubus Firestarters, and the first room on your right once you turn left at the end of the hallway, which has a third Vampire Knight and two other vampires. The trick here is to open up with Shockwave and use it exclusively to damage the Vampire Knights; keeping them Crippled and away from you is crucial to preventing them and their comrades (who will either die from the Shockwave or also be kept at bay by it) from damaging you, and 3 minutes is more than enough to pull this off.
- Slay Siena while above 50% Health without using Potions and Shrines - she's the final Champion Succubus to spawn in the torture chamber to the right of the end of the hallway that you start in, with two others of basically identical stats spawning before her and needing to be slain first. Use the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode and you should get through this no problem.
- Slay 4 Tyrant Succubus Swordmaidens with Hex of Malice - as in Dead Man's Mine, in order to "spawn" the enemies for this trophy, you'll need to confront the Succubus Swordmaidens in the hallway adjacent to the first Monument of Rock and let them run around for a while so they can perform their ritual and become Tyrants, then kill them. As long as you keep your distance (they hit hard with that power boost), you should be fine.
- Slay Zeal with Demon Powers without dying with Hex of Tyranny - he spawns at the first Monument of Rock in the final wave. With the Shockwave Build and the double damage shrine located right next to the Monument that you're free to use, this will be no trouble at all.
- Slay the 2 Sisters of Mercy without using Potions with 5 active Hexes - these are the final wave of the second Monument of Rock in front of the entrance to The Chalice. Once again, you're allowed to die without voiding the challenge here, so you'll want to clear the enemies off the stairs leading up to the Monument (otherwise you'll be risking them coming in and dealing lots of damage to you during the upcoming fight), then start the waves themselves and use Shockwave exclusively for the enemy hordes. Thankfully, there's two health shrines right next to the Monument that you can use without issue if you take too much damage, but this should be doable otherwise.
The Chalice
- Slay Queen of the Damned with Hex of Tyranny - stacks with the 5th elite challenge.
- Slay 25 Champions - the center of the three portions of the map and the staircases are all spawning point for Champions of various shapes, sizes, and demon powers. They don't spawn especially fast (mainly so the fight against the Queen of the Damned is reasonably doable), but you can complete this with about 5 minutes of running around, killing Champions as you see them with the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode, and heading to the spawn points; this is best done while the Queen of the Damned is between phases and you're tasked with killing the three Souls of the Damned, as she won't be attacking you in the process.
- Slay Queen of the Damned within 360 seconds - the Shockwave Build on Casual Mode makes this pretty doable. You should be aiming to complete each phase in under 90 seconds, though you should have plenty of time left to spare by the end.
- Slay Queen of the Damned While Above 50% health - the trick here is to keep a constant eye on your health and make use not only of your potions, but the many health shrines around the area to stay above the threshold, with the usual recommendations of Casual Mode and the Shockwave Build also applying as well. It's tedious and will probably be your longest run of the fight, but you can do it.
- Slay Queen of the Damned without dying with 5 active Hexes - definitely the hardest of this fight's challenges, as both the Queen and all the Champions/Tyrants spawning to ruin your day will be doing lots of damage to you all the time. The Shockwave Build is essential here, and you'll want to run to the upper levels whenever you can while actually fighting the Queen to avoid most of the monsters. With luck, this and the 3 Hexes normal challenge will be your last, popping both this trophy and
Tell Me Who To Kill. Congratulations!

Lost Johnny Discovered all Secrets in the Motörhead World |
|
|
As in the base game, you can use Zuldar's Comprehensive Secrets Guide on Steam for these chests' locations, as all the maps are accounted for and you can easily get these as you explore the dungeons and progress through the main story. However, a couple need clarification not provided in the map list/guide itself:

The Weird West
Secret #8 here cannot be acquired solely through the overworld map like all the others in the game; instead, you must progress through and then exit The Vanishing Wellspring at the southwest part of the map, at which point you'll finds yourself on a set of rocky bluffs with the chest nearby.Screaming Pathway
The green dot marking the jump spot is inaccurately placed; the actual jumping point to access that section of the map is to the west of the marked point in the hallway leading to it. See the video below for a visual demonstration:Credit and thanks to Toni 82 for the video.

We Are Motörhead Completed the Motörhead Band Members collection |
|
|
The Motörhead Band Members collection is a set of 6 images of the real-life members of Motörhead, two for each person and each bearing a different caption/quote from them. These will come naturally as you play through the story, as they're awarded for defeating the bosses - this should pop shortly after you get
Eat the Rich from defeating the Queen of the Damned.

Hellraiser Completed all Monuments of Rock |
|
|
Monuments of Rock are essentially massive gravemarkers left for the fallen members of the resistance led by Lemmy that dot every non-boss area, indicated by guitar symbols on the map itself; they vary considerably in appearance, but you'll know them when you see them. There's a total of 27 across the 13 standard dungeon areas of the game, and completing a Monument consists of slaying multiple waves of monsters, some easy, others difficult, though spamming demon powers on Casual Mode is enough for the majority of them; keep in mind that some waves take a minute to spawn instead of coming immediately after the previous wave is cleared, as they're not contingent on all other monsters being slain first, and the Monument is considered completed when the music fades along with the smog in the area while gold rains down from above.
Though the icons don't change appearance once you've completed a given Monument, as they reset every time you restart or re-enter the area (as some are required for challenges), the game keeps track of how many you've completed in a given area underneath the secrets tab in the top-right of the map/challenges screen, so for your own sake you should complete all the Monuments in a given dungeon/area before moving onto the next. This will pop when you've completed the very last Monument - Lemmy would be proud.
