Stage 1: Introduction and Singleplayer: Reaching Rank 7 in Challenge Tournaments
30.03.2022 EDIT: Online server cutoff has been announced for September 30, 2022. Online trophies and platinum along with them will not be obtainable after that date.Once you start a new game, you'll be introduced to world of Everybody's golf by chairman Suzuki, a middle-aged man who appeared through the series, both as caddie and playable character. You will be prompted to create your character and after that, you'll move to Home Area. Home Area is a hub from where you'll take challenge tournaments, play matches against VS characters and go to Open courses in online mode.
Your first task will be to ascend through ranks in challenge tournaments and reach rank 7 (Special). By participating in tourneys, you will receive Victory EXP and coins. Once you get enough Victory EXP to fill the bar, a VS character will appear. You have to challenge and win against him/her in order to proceed. There are 18 VS characters in total associated with ranks 1-6.
Don't worry about scoring bad at first, once you level up your clubs and start earning new ones (Big Air clubs in particular will be very helpful) your yardage will see noticable improvement and you will reach green more easily. Do not worry about trophies requiring you to score eagle, long putt or spin trick shots, you will have plenty of tries to do these and most likely you will earn them without thinking. Just enjoy the game at your own pace.
Through the game, Professor Koenji will offer to quiz you about golf terminology and gameplay. He'll offer Basic quiz on Rank 1, Intermediate on Rank 3 and Advanced on Rank 6. Complete every quiz for
Top Marks.Play in Serious mode to speed up singleplayer progress. Refer to Tips and Strategies for more details.

Stage 2: Collect all Gallery Members in Singleplayer and Work Towards Unlocking Secret VS Characters
Once you beat Adam, final VS character in Rank 6, you'll receive your very own custom clubs and get access to Special Rank tourneys. From now on, once a day, you should receive a match challenge from any previously beaten VS character. It is recommended to back up your save before attempting to play with them as you get only one shot at beating them per day. If you lose, they'll leave and you'll be forced to wait for them to appear again.By now you should have a good grasp of this game and club yardage long enough to let you reach Par 5 greens in 2 strokes. You will need to complete certain tasks in order to unlock secret VS characters. In fact, you probably already unlocked at least one. Refer to
Secret Master for more information about them.Since you've reached max tournament rank and no longer receive Victory EXP for you efforts, and you have more coins than you know what to do with them, there's no longer need to play on Serious mode. Play challenge tournaments until you complete gallery member collection. Check

Stage 3: Unlock all Secret VS Characters and Defeat Them in a Match
You may have unlocked several secret VS characters by now, but there are two that are difficult to get in particular. You have to score 3 condors during official rounds. Condor is a Hole in One on Par 5 which sounds pretty daunting on paper, however Alpina Forest hole 12 allows you to reach green in a single stroke over water. Refer to Absolute Finesse for tips on how to improve your chances in scoring a condor and Secret Master for other requirements.Once you're done, you should have the following trophies:
Defeat all secret VS characters
Score a condor in a recorded official round
Score an albatross in a recorded official round
Score a hole-in-one in a recorded official round
Sink the ball with a Rising Shot in a recorded official round
Arrive at an online open course
Stage 4: Fishing, Remaining Revenge VS Characters and Cleanup
If you defeated Kato (old fisherman) in revenge VS match, you should unlock more expensive gear and bait at fishing spots. Now is the time to fill up your fish encyclopaedia. Go to every fishing spot, both in Home Area and every Open Course, and fish out everything on each list.After that, all there will be left is waiting for all VS characters to appear and beat them again in revenge match and doing feats you didn't achieve in previous stages.

Tips & Strategies
General Gameplay
You will stumble across two types of tournaments and matches, Official and Unofficial. Main difference between them is type of cup used in them, Teeny and Normal for Official matches, and Mega and Tornado for Unofficial ones. In addition, several EG Rules (extra rules such as Rough + 1) in VS matches make a match Unofficial. Every feat related to trophies and unlocking secret VS characters have to be done during Official matches, so it's recommended to play these as often as possible.
button on tournament selection screen. This will switch the play to "Serious mode", where every NPC you play against will be more difficult to beat. That being said, if you're series' veteran, even Serious mode isn't going to be challenging until rank 7. You'll earn 50% more rewards for playing that way, therefore getting to VS characters faster. However there isn't really a need to hurry, as you will have to play 120 challenge tournaments anyway in order to unlock a secret VS character and every gallery member for Full House.- Increase Power - Make a shot with at least 95% power. Maximum value is 25, each point raising drive by 4y
- Increase Control - Get the ball as close to the pin as possible from further distance (60 yards and more). Maximum is 15.
- Increase Backspin - Succesfully adjust distance with backspin on the green. Maximum is 15.
- Increase Back Door - Chip-in with any club, or sink 15+ ft putt. Maximum is 10. With higher values it's more likely that ball will be caught by edge of the hole, twirl around it and finally sink in.
- 1y± power for every yard of elevation difference outside of green
- 1ft± power for every 0.1ft elevation difference on the green
- 1 square on grid for every 1m/s crosswind
Farming Gems
You will need a lot of these for upgrading your custom clubs. You can earn them from Special Rank tournaments and sometimes from fishing, but there's easier and more predictable way to farm them. Every day, items are spawning near random holes on all Open Courses...or so you think they are random. Spawn locations actually follow certain formulas.
- Course X (OUT) hole= Course 1 (OUT) hole + 2*(X-1)
- Course X (IN) hole= Course 1 (IN) hole + 2*(X-1)
- Course X (IN) hole = Course X hole (OUT) + 10
- With X being course you want to find your items on.
- If either value will exceed 9 or 18, it will roll over.
Basically all you need to do is find items on Eagle City (OUT) and you will know where to look for them everywhere else.
For example, if you will find items on hole 6, this is where to look on every other Open Course:

Every hole will spawn 2 gem pickups once a day, each worth between 1 and 2 gems. If you go through every non-DLC Open Course, you should earn 20-40 gems. You need 110 to max out your clubs and 10 for repairing it each time it's in poor condition.

This will be by far the longest time you'll spend on earning a trophy for this game. Not by gameplay hours however, but by days.
There are 18 VS characters in tournament ranks 1 through 6, however you also need to beat their revenge variations, which only appear once per day. Also, if revenge character will beat you, they will disappear and rematch won't happen until they appear again days later. This is why I recommend making a backup of your save to USB or cloud before you challenge them so you won't waste as much time.
Fortunately they don't seem to repeat so you'll need to come back to this game for 18 days in total... and before you ask, no, changing internal time clock on PS4 has no effect so you can't cheat your way through to get this trophy sooner.

You will be required to score 3 condors in order to unlock all secret VS characters, although one will suffice to unlock this trophy. I'm warning you, it will not be easy, even with preparations. Here's how to do it:
This will definitely take you a while. Even if you shoot with perfect impact, the ball won't always go perfectly straight, but aforementioned preparations make it more likely to happen. Do not get discouraged and keep trying. While, yes, you will have to wait for proper weather conditions and tee to appear on Open Course, you don't really have to hurry as it will still take you at least 18 days to platinum this game, thanks to revenge VS characters.

Preparations
- Upgrade your custom clubs until at least Power level 20. I had success with Level 21 and other players are reporting they scored condors with 18. Remember you can use power shot to extend the distance.
- Get a Triple Precision ball. You can earn them in Special Rank tournaments and by fishing. You do not use them up when playing on a single hole, so you don't need more than 1.
- Level up control stat of your driver to 15. This will reduce the sway of it and will make ball more likely to go in the direction you want, since even with perfect impact there will be a minimal sway. Pick any easy par 3 you like (such as in Eagle City) and try to get ball as close to the hole as possible with 1W. You can use standard clubs and beginner ball if you need less distance.
Strategy
- Play on Alpine Forest Open Course Hole 12 on Normal Tees and Weak or Normal wind. People are reporting success on scoring from Long Tees, but I personally prefer normal ones since you will have nice window open between you and the hole, while on long, trees will be in the way. In order to come back to teeing off faster, replay a shot with button, press
and quit the round. From there you can instantly try again. - Do a rising pin shot (hold
when setting power and hold 
on impact for super topspin), this will allow the ball to sink as long as it hits the pin, not to mention you have to skip water in order to reach green in the first place. Roll speed won't matter. - Youtube user Metalaneor made a pretty sweet reference guide on where to aim depending on wind strength. This should give you a good idea where to exactly shoot. Click.
- Use around 354-358y of power, do not use sidespin unless crosswind is too powerful. Aim the point right by the shore of pond below the building in front of the green.

The trophy description is slightly misleading because you don't actually need to fill it completely, you just need first 58 species. Entries 59 and on are for DLC courses only.
Once you defeat Rank 4 character Kato in a match, you'll unlock ability to fish and rent out equipment for it. However, in order to catch rare fish marked as ??? on each list, you need to defeat him in revenge VS match, which in turn will allow you to rent more expensive rods and bait. It's recommended to do this then because you should have more than enough coins to rent the best stuff (280 for both level 20 rod and deluxe bait).
Fishing in itself is pretty simple. Stand in front of the water, press and hold
, then release it to cast. Once the float sinks, press again for a bite. Depending on the timing, a bite can be weak, normal or strong, which will grant various amount of time (25, 30 and 45 seconds respectively) before fish will get away. I found that pressing about a second after the float sinks grants me strong bites more often. After that you have to tap to reel in, just don't let the bar to get full, otherwise the line will break and fish will get away. Tension bar will get slightly longer with every fishing level, with maximum being 30. Increase it by getting catches, bigger and rarer levels you up faster.

This is the trickiest of three super spin shots since you have to properly aim for the pin, by turning your character left or right. Hold

Every rank will have between 80 and 200 NPC that will participate in tournaments alongside you. Beat them with at least 3 stroke difference to unlock them in gallery (these NPC will stroll in your Home Area). When choosing a tournament you can see which character you already got, press 
to shuffle participants with coins and get a new set, hopefully with ones you haven't already got. There are 720 gallery members in total. Get them all for the trophy.

Professor Koenji is a short NPC you can find in your Home Area, he will quiz you about different aspects of golfing, both real life and Everybody's Golf specific. Basic quiz will be available at the start, while Intermediate and Advanced quiz will unlock at rank 3 and 6 respectively.

You can attempt it on any hole with water hazards. Apply topspin or super topspin and aim for the water, the ball should skip over it. You will earn this trophy once skipped ball stops on land. Just remember that if you're facing stronger headwind, you will need super topsin for the ball to skip. If you, for some reason, did not attempt this yet, you will get it while going for Absolute Finesse.

You can attempt it anywhere, but it's recommended to play the Eagle City course, since it has the most flat greens. Max out the Back Door stat on your putter before trying for a better chance of sinking the ball.

Green in regulation (or GIR for short) is when you reach green in par-1 strokes, so for birdie attempts with putting. Refer to Tips and Strategies for information on how to aim your shots to get to hole as close as possible.

Chip-in happens when you sink the ball outside of green with a club other than the putter. You will get this by playing through the game naturally, but Eagle City course is the easiest to attempt it there due to flat greens that won't let the ball slide to the side.

Get 2 strokes under par. You will be able to get this once you have sufficient enough yardage to reach Par 5 holes in 2 strokes. You need 50 of them to unlock secret VS characters.

In Home Area, you will notice 3 gates leading to various online modes. The leftmost one will unlock Open Course selection menu , where you can choose course to go to. Arriving at any one of them will net you the trophy. You can also press to open the menu and select Online > Open Course selection screen.
